Why any? What's the point?
I'm inclined to agree with him, what is the point of this article?
Kinda reminds me of Sephiroth, at least in the way he carries himself. Most antagonists spend all of their time on screen cackling and giving long winded, nihilistic expositions. I prefer the ones that have an air of mystery and replace their predictable speeches and motivations with badassery.
The reason they're so expensive is because of the endless apologizers like this on Nintendo's behalf, why would they do any differently when they have no incentive from consumers to do so?
Wish Epic would bring back UT. Literally the only FPS game I've ever gotten into. Something about the fast and frenetic gameplay that flowed so smoothly. They won this non fps fan over to fps for the first and only time in my life. I've heard rumors that the reason they canned UT4 was because Fortnite's unexpected popularity caused them to redirect staff to meet demand. If this is true, damn you Fortnite. I think the popularity of the new Doom games has shown that there is still a...
I'm jealous of people who like Battle Royale games, seems like they're having a blast, and publishers are scrambling to give them new games and content. Unfortunately though, they just do nothing for me.
Probably because D2 was not only far more popular, but massively improved the formula of the original. You hear a lot of people saying D2 was better than D3, not sure I've heard anyone say D1 was better than D2. Not that D1 was bad, it was revolutionary for the time, but they really stepped it up with the sequel.
I liked Diablo 3 as much as the next guy, but in what way was it better than Diablo 2, apart from graphics?
Unlikely, MS aren't going to pass on what will likely be over double the install base of the Xbox. But frankly, even if they did, will anyone really care with the state of Bethesda currently? They took their two biggest franchises and turned them into generic cash grab online games. It's not the same Bethesda it used to be.
What else is new? This is typical Nintendo, and why would they care? They seem to get a pass on everything, and they're still selling like hotcakes. Money talks, and if people keep throwing their money at them, they have no incentive to address their issues.
I dunno, hardware power doesn't seem to be much of a priority for most Switch owners. Furthermore, Nintendo games aren't all that graphically demanding.
Consoles have always been about resolution/visuals/fps per dollar, and as usual, they are dominating compared to PC in this arena currently. This will level out over time, obviously. But if you're in the market for gaming hardware, you'll currently get the most bang for your buck buying console.
What? Current gen consoles provide far more bang for your buck than PC does, sorry this is just a fact. Obviously this will level out over time, but you won't get close to current gen console gaming on PC at current hardware prices.
My favorite of the telltale games.
This left wing idea that fiction = promotion, needs to die.
Seriously? Lol, people think last gen Control looks better than Demon's Souls? Man, the people of N4G, never change.
@utopiancat This. It's not a PC with standard hardware. Sometimes the absence of one thing can mean the presence of something better by a different name. Seems like it should be common sense, but judging by these comments, apparently not.
Is there any evidence that this is anything more than an anomaly? I know drift is a pretty widespread problem among nearly every console, but these just came out. Surely it's too soon to determine the scope of the problem?
I would put Demon's Souls above that, personally, but yeah, it does show off raytracing quite nicely. Just unfortunate you have to give up 60fps to get it.
It doesn't bother me that much, but I get what you're saying.
