Sometimes it's "okay", but never ideal. This idea that it makes games more "cinematic" is complete nonsense.
Oh noes... How will PS5 ever recover?
Probably not a win for Sony's console division, but not really a loss either given enough time between releases. On the other hand, Sony first party titles are on another level, I could see a fair amount of PC gamers buying a playstation to try out others.
Can't wait to play this. I know all the Yakuza fans hate it because they changed it up, but as an RPG fan that was vaguely interested in the series, I'm hyped. Guess they were counting on the fans being more open minded, but who knows.
I wouldn't necessarily conflate AAA with great. Tales games are better than most "AAA" crap we get these days.
Would be a shame if we lost the series, absolutely loved berseria.
Don't exactly need a cutting edge rig to outperform Switch.
Most gamers probably can on some level, but long time console gamers don't make it a priority, presumably because they're not used to it, and by extension, don't understand the benefits. I think this is changing however, as going into next gen, framerate seems to be more of a priority.
Like me, you were downvoted, despite being correct. Casual gamers simply don't care, sorry but this is just true. I'm not happy about it, but that's the way it is. Are there really that many people who frequent this site that have deluded themselves into thinking that the average gamer cares about 60fps? It's a problem, and pretending like it doesn't exist won't make it go away.
Eh, as long as it's done well, I'm fine with it. Kinda nice that I'm not already going to know everything that happens.
Works for me, the last game was a masterpiece, they can take all the time they need. As far as listening to vague/non-specific release windows, my suggestion is, ignore them. Heck, even official release dates should be taken with a grain of salt. These things are volatile enough, even before the world decided to go authoritarian after some people got sick.
Cool, I'll hold out for this version in that case.
@raiden Because the vast majority of console gamers don't care about 60fps, or probably even understand the concept. It's unfortunate, but it's reality.
Yeah, Sony's strategy of releasing games to PC years later doesn't really do anything to take away from the exclusivity. Everyone who wanted it has already bought it, so it makes sense from a business standpoint, and as a PC gamer myself, it's fun to double dip, because Sony exclusives are always have amazing visuals.
Cool, will be fun to tinker with this on PC, though it's pretty damn good on PS5.
They link you to it, you just can't see it without being a member of nexusmods, as they hide adult mods behind a setting change.
Well, I guess TLoU2 fell through the cracks if that's the case, one of the most violent games I've ever played.
Astro's Playroom is so impressive, the potential to do cool things with it seems limitless. Can't wait to see what cool and unique things other devs come up with.
Lol, cause we haven't heard that before. Remember, when MS speaks, they're talking to the shareholders, not the gamers. In their defense however, it is their job to make money for shareholders.
