"Journalism" is a joke. These people should not be taken seriously, be it games or otherwise.
60fps > resolution bumps...every time.
Nice. It's great to see console makers finally acknowledging the importance of 60fps.
@Lucas Yes, Xbox has a long history of big promises that they rarely deliver on. What is it that keeps people optimistic after all these years?
Incredibly promising? In what way? I don't know how anyone can look at the Xbox track record and have any optimism about the future of the console. What am I missing?
Lol, what? C'mon now... Why? Because they spent a fortune to save a sinking ship called Bethesda? Or the narrative that 3rd party games will be best on XSX? That didn't pan out either. It seems that the power narrative is all they had, and they seem to be routinely outperformed, despite muh tflops. Props to their marketing division though, they somehow manage to keep fans optimistic despite rarely delivering on their promises. Oh, just saw the website, makes sense now.
Game was underrated IMO. Not as good as the first, but better than the third.
@logic That's not deep, that's generic. Typical action blockbuster fare. That's not to say it wasn't enjoyable, but it was anything but deep, lol. I don't think they expected so many people to dislike Nadine, so they tried to soften her up a bit, not sure how successful that attempt was, but to each their own. She was the "angry black woman" meets "strong independent woman" stereotype, I don't know how you could get much more generic and one dimensi...
Lol, Lost Legacy was the best? I mean, it wasn't bad, but the best? You're kidding right?
@derf More like 99.96% iirc, higher than that when you factor in the tabulation inconsistencies, such as counting a death as a "covid death" if they tested positive in the past 14 days, regardless of cause of death, and regardless of symptoms shown, or lack thereof. This whole thing has been botched on a colossal level. It's amazing to me that anyone still has a shred of faith in our elected officials or their so-called "experts". I get it, everyone was scared, no one ...
Not a very high bar though.
I completely forgot this game was still a thing.
Not surprising, it's a fantastic console, and because of Sony's track record, everyone that buys one knows that they will have an amazing library of games to play throughout the generation. Just sucks that it's so hard for people to get one.
They have a crime problem, and it's easier to point the finger at video games rather than do anything meaningful.
Hopefully its not just gamepass filler.
Black Desert has the most robust character creation tool that I've seen so far.
Jrpgs don't sell well on Xbox, this has always been the case.
@Junkstein As opposed to games that mostly use one button? At least the Tales series has an engrossing storyline, at least it's something creative. Most AAA games are either the same generic FPS formula or the same generic giant open world, padded with boring sidequest formula. At least with Tales, you feel like you're getting something new and original with each game. Characters you actually remember for more than 5 minutes, a storyline that doesn't put you to sleep, and gameplay...
Guess I upset some Xbox fans. Sorry guys, just making an observation...
Same story, more of the same. Guess tflops isn't the best metric for power, eh?
