Who is XSS for again?
Yes, we all know DF likes Xbox almost as much as you do.
Same. Not much of a Nintendo guy, but you can't deny their appeal, so I'd throw that in if I were. Unrelated to graphics, however.
I think the better question is, why does this make you unhappy? Sony have always been on the cutting edge of visuals, this is a good thing, not sure why it would bother someone.
Complex? Lol. Revenge = Bad. So deep and complex.
I would actually agree with this assessment.
Mine was Persona 5 Royal, even after already beating the original.
As a long time console gamer, I've concluded that MS just isn't very good at consoles.
You're in for a treat, best game I've played this gen, and possibly the best RPG I've ever played. Character and story direction is unique and unconventional, but pays off in a big way.
Lots of downvotes, no counter arguments. "Just wait, the Xbox's SDK is new. Developers will improve leaps and bounds as time passes with Xbox, but will inexplicably peak with PS5, despite a long history of massive improvements over the course of console generations."
This argument is silly, it presumes that devs won't better learn and improve development with Sony's dev tools alongside Xbox. Yeah, Sony has a headstart, but the race has just begun. This argument completely ignores the fact that visuals and performance steadily improve throughout the entire gen. It's not a 6 month window followed by a peak in potential. In theory, Xbox should be compensating for the lack of SDK experience with raw power, but this doesn't seem to be the case....
Yeah, when the console that falls flat when comparing first party titles, and makes it bones on "power" marketing can't even keep pace with the competition, what incentive is there really? @Gold This is only with old games. Much in the way that games unoptimized for emulation don't benefit from any additional optimization, but rather raw processor power. If you're happy with lesser tier next gen games, but slightly faster loading on last gen games, then I suppo...
Yeah, that isn't $80 worth of value. $80 cost perhaps, but it ain't that valuable, not even close.
It was close, for sure. If only the story/new characters weren't so shallow and forgettable. Everything else about the game was top notch though, almost felt like an early next gen game technically. I didn't expect to finish the game after seeing the leaks, but the game is absolutely beautiful, the animation and voice acting were stellar, and the combat was a big step up from the first game. I feel like this is something the fans of the game don't understand with the rest of us, o...
Great, more crap for corporate America to bend the knee to China on.
I didn't hate it, the visuals, the voice acting, the animation, all phenomenal. The combat was fun too. It fell pretty flat with the story though IMO. Something I would normally be happy to overlook, but the first game had such a great story and writing, and for me, the new characters and story direction were just forgettable and shallow.
Have played through the entire legend of heroes series over the past year or so, currently playing cole steel 4, and man, what a fantastic series and game world. I don't want it to end.
Phil does a lot of talking, you can't very well expect honesty and consistency, that would be too much to ask, apparently.
Weird how defensive you people get when facing the realization that not everyone liked the game. It's cool if you do, but you shouldn't take it personally if someone else doesn't. It's just a game my dude.
Maybe there is a reason no one is calling it out? Maybe it's actually good?
