Yeah, it's more and more 'prevalent', but that doesnt mean gamers LIKE it. Hell, I HATE all the current DLC scamming BS that's going on way too much, and it's ruining gaming. I boycot games that use the DLC scam.

I just think it would make a nice diversion to have an asian setting in GTA for once, instead of hanging around in american cities as always in these games.
An Asian city just has a whole different 'vibe' to it, you can really do different things in terms of the look of the game, with the cars, the buildings, the way the NPC's dress, etc.
It would be nice for a change.
... and in Liberty City, just as in real life, there are hookers... so the game just offers you the freedom to take advantage of that, or not. The choice is up to the player.
So if you dont like it, just dont make use of it. For me, although I would never ever everrrrrrrrrrr go to a whore in real-life, I think the addition of them in a game like this is just another extra cherry on the cake.

..I've been expressing this wish for years now.
Just imagine a HUGE city, combining the best elements from all the major asian cities like SHanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto etc. Mixing state-of the art-technology and public transport, fantastic architecture, a mix between old and new (temples, a big ass mountain like Mt. Fuji, or the HK mountain with The Peak, rich and poor areas, ferries, an offshore modern airport, a huge amusementpark, etc etc.

... GTA4 is undoubtedly great, but I wouldnt be surprised if LBP just nicks it, because of originality, 'fun', the creating and sharing aspect, style, etc.
... they made a game pretty much no-one could play with full settings using even a modern desktop with a good graphics-card.
Many people downloaded the game, just to be save and see if it would run properly on their machine, and when it didnt, they either kept playing the illegal copy cause they dont wanna shell out full price for a game that they cant play on max. settings, or they just deleted the whole thing and went back to Call of Duty 4 and Oblivion.
