He has done wonders for the brand and I'm sure he will do some awesome things going forward he was quite brave to take on the hatred I don't remember even don mattrick getting as much hate on the internet until the "we have a product for you, it's called Xbox 360" comment...
In my opinion he's doing well I like all the new things he's brought in like game pass and I especially like the new focus on games because Xbox one X was good hardware but...
I don't think a genre is close to dead because there isn't a huge game, look at hero shooters Overwatch came along and everyone just gave up and now we have like 3 regularly updated hero shooters left and i don't see any coming in future...
I'm seeing more strategy games released on console than ever i'm not a fan of the genre so these could all just be years old ports that are only just making it to console and i could be completely wrong.

That’s nice I hate the Xbox one box that has the raised Xbox one text at the top it’s rough and gross imo, I prefer PS4 boxes cause it’s just a Blu-ray box I get trying to stand out but the way MS did it for Xbox one is horrible imo.
I don’t think they mean that as a hard rule it’s just the studios they brought in the last year aren’t sitting around doing nothing they are making games and those games being tied to the next gen despite being developed for Xbox one wouldn’t be a very good move because not only are you missing out on sales, you are screwing over your fans that can’t afford a day one purchase of the new console. It was developed on current gen hardware why cut those Xbox one players out?

I hate all the talk of 8k we can’t even get 4K right half the time and who has an 8k tv? It’s just gonna be a useless selling point publishers will throw on a box to make fanboys wet themselves in excitement just like 4K at the beginning of this gen.
This exactly, the only "Holding back" there will be is CPU intensive games won't be brought to the xbox one/ps4 and will stay PC or next gen exclusive as they always have...
i doubt it, i imagine cross gen games will just look and preform better on series x and games that require series x specific hardware such as heavy CPU usage games just won't come to xbox one anyway...
Naughty Dog doesn't want to make "summer blockbuster" games they want to make a great story and world that will live on past just that game...

Would be a kinda cool idea but Wii U is still very fresh in the minds of the video game industry, not to mention the high cost of such a feature. I wouldn't mind it if it was just used for playstation UI stuff like messages and Spotify while I'm playing but the DS4 has a subpar battery as is imagine if they added a screen? But maybe it's bigger to accommodate a better battery who knows...

Depends on the reason for playing I beat mario for the first time using rewind on switch, it 100 removed the challenge but I wasn't looking for a challenge I just wanted to see everything.
I find the whole argument silly it's not like having a rewind or super easy mode affects your enjoyment of a game. Just let people play games how they want to, as long as they have fun who cares?
