If it was a joke, sorry we took it as a serious jab. You've gotta understand, it's rare that a Nintendo article is posted here without bringing out all of the Anti-Nintendo Trolls.

Many Wii owners are people who have been playing games since the NES and earlier. Many of the people who post on Wii Articles have been playing since the PS1 or later.

The people who post "Nintendo is for homo-babies omgwtfbbq!!!" on every article, can't be expected to appr...

That's a great outlook, for a person who isn't having their game stolen. If you stole my game, I'd be pissed. I imagine you'd be upset if I stole your's.

If these games are for sale (for a reasonable price) and you still decide to acquire them without paying, you're stealing them.

I generally take the side of the little guy over the corporation, but people who are willing to steal from Nintendo are usually more than willing to steal from small devs whose' livel...

Historically, Nintendo has been responsible for many of the advances that make console gaming what it is today.

Nintendo was getting knocked around by it's competition the last 2 gens, when it's consoles were equally (or more) graphically capable.

They took a different route this time out and it's obviously paying off.

To suggest that Nintendo has been somehow impeding the progression of technology "for years" is pretty dense.

Haha! Actually, if you have the degree you won't need the gun, and vice-versa.

Excellent Idea!

I cannot wait to play this! Just like Punch Out Wii, I am thrilled to see the inclusion of a sideways Wii-mote control option. Especially when dealing with twitchy old-school remakes, motion only isn't always the right call.

I'm loving the decision to go with a 2D style too...

A lot of people believe whatever they want, and it's really sad to watch. Time and time again, people b!tch that Wii Game X isn't on their system of choice... but refuse to admit that there are appealing, quality games on the platform.

I'm really glad I own a Wii and I'm amped for all of the games to be released in the coming year.

On Point:

Great call embracing the old-school style. As much as I love the Wii, in the wrong hands, it is far from...

Sorry, this is supposed to be in response to #2.

Whenever I visit my parents, Pops and I bust out Wii-Sports or Tiger Woods and we're always trying to outdo one another. A few months ago, I was one strike away from a perfect game. So, naturally I wanted to gloat... I paused the game and yelled for my dad to "Come behold my miracle!"

Well, I choked... finished with a damn 299.... garbage.

The moral is, like real bowling, pool, darts, e...

Let's say the hardware needed to up the output to 720P also upped the cost of the Wii to $349 - $399. I honestly don't see the casual crowd embracing it at that price. Part of the original appeal of the Wii was how relatively inexpensive it was. HD Wii probably would have tanked in 2006.

OK, I just logged in and I cant help but notice that you're all over the Wii article's comments sections. Do some research, NSMBWii will outsell MW2 by the time all is said and done, and that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who follows gaming news. If you hate the Wii so much, get off of it's nuts and go play some games.

Thankfully, Stuffing your face full of cupcakes can keep you from speaking such garbage. If only there were an equivalent for your hands to keep you from t...

Zack and Wiki was an amazing point and click title. It sadly didn't do well in sales, but it really was a thoroughly enjoyable and challenging game . Deserving of all the acclaim that other sleepers like Okami, and SoTC receive.

"I think I would have liked it more had I bought it for $20-30, since I wouldn't have been disappointed by its length."

That's what she said!

Very sorry!

On a serious note, I agree. 1st day buy for me, and while I did enjoy it; I haven't touched it since I beat it. $50 was a bit steep... Otherwise awesome game.

Dear Internet Tough Guy... I'm not going to be the one who's going to STFU here... because I'm not the one who wasted his bubbles flaming in a poorly veiled effort to compensate for his sexual inadequacy... (That would be you)

actually... I can deny your allegation that "You cannot deny the fact that PCs are virus ridden and a headache".

I've never had a single virus in my entire life... and I didn't have to pay a %300 premium to make that claim. M...

Please, please, please stfu. It's one thing to prefer one product over another. It's something else altogether to wear it on your sleeve the way that you do... Hoping people's PC's explode? Eat Nuts Dude.

I know, you probably just got a MacBook, and a matching Turtleneck... and's that's fantastic for you... take it to a coffee shop, let everyone bask in your undeserved sense of superiority.

First, let's not pretend that Mac's don't crash. They have problems of their own...

Second, whatever your feelings are about past MS OS's may be; Windows 7 is truly badass. I've been running it since the day it dropped, and I have not encountered anything but improved, stable performance, with a pretty, streamlined interface.

Just had to share my experience with my new favorite OS.

I think the Mac commercials are getting pretty desperate honestly. ...

"And what did the star bits do again?"

You needed them to unlock certain galaxies. You had to shoot them at the fat Lumas in order to advance to these new locations. They were also a projectile for stunning certain enemies.

Galaxy could not have run on Gamecube. I understand that graphically, it's not on the level of other console powerhouses, but it utilizes some advanced techniques that would not have been available to devs on GC.

I dug the way the Wiimote was implemented in Galaxy, subtle, but effective. I would not have enjoyed grabbing star bits, or the star anchors when floating through space with Dual Analogue... It would have been a different game.

I'd tell you to multiply that by 4 since it is multiplayer... but that might be "too big a number dumber d-der dert" for someone named redneck_smith. Yeehaw!
