Not really? It's been out for a year already. And games may come to Game Pass, but they also leave Game Pass. Will it remain on there until all content has been released? Probably not as it's a live service and has already had a year of timed content that has disappeared.
I keep thinking this update is to coincide with a State of Play announcement and as that rumoured show keeps not materialising then BB Studios keeps delaying the trailer. They can't keep this up.

Yeah they've taken the dead scouts out for now as that might have been a major issue corrupting the saves. Hopefully they will add them back in.
Played this morning after the update and audio still has that glitch where is blows out the speakers/headphones. This time it was the turrets in one area of the Crimson Wastes that was the glitch audio noise.

The biggest plus of this update is you can find dead players around the biomes now. You can choose to scavenge or avenge them. Avenging them means you fight a mini-boss and if you beat them you will gain a new gun and four ethers. They are tough fights but worth gaining the ether so you can use more often in a run. Very much worth updating once you've died in your run.
