Because a new engine designed to run on new systems would work better than an old engine constantly upgraded to cope on new systems. It really isn't that hard to figure out. Just use some common sense.

I can't lie, I'm pretty upset by the state of gt sport. I genuinely thought that polyphony were going to belt this one right out of the park but sadly it seems extremely dated.
I did just that, the only video I had seen was the e3 reveal. It was hard to fight temptation but totally worth it. ND are absolute legends in my eyes now. It was such a beautiful looking and unbelievably fun game which was topped off with a fantast and fitting story to end the series. Some of the best fun I've had in 30+ years of gaming. I can't wait for the dlc now.

On the same note there's no reason to be so negative about it. We don't know what they are creating yet, the new people over at bioware might very well have an excellent vision for the final product. Just wait and see before you get too down on it.
