To be fair there has been an upshift in the reputation of WiiU of late. A lot of people I am speaking to are now considering getting one but wouldnt even have considered it this time last year.
They are on track to exceed the 3.6 million. Remember Q3 historically sells more than the others combined.
To be fair the metacritic is 91 so a 9.5 is pretty much the average score this game has been getting. Well worth it IMHO, the game is a masterpiece

I was planning on getting it 6 months ago having purchased every mature Ubi game but not interested now because of my awesome backlog. Will get it in bargain bins next year, maybe a little 6 month delay on purchasing...

I think its awesome that there is something to satisy all gaming needs this gen. WiiU caters to many gamers tastes and tends to do a handful of titles exceedingly well.
Sony and MS have the multiplats and a few exclusives that have been ok to good (Forza seems to be the only must own exclusive so far) and thats cool.

WiiU is backwards compatible. You should pick one up for 3D World (Champion Road is probably the most difficult Mario level ever made) and then pick up galaxy 2 while you are at it.
I get what you are saying, but when the first Bayonetta there was a plethora of titles on both platforms that had released to critical acclaim. So far this gen we are waiting for the first title to really kick things off. Id argue that Bayonetta 2 is the first really compelling reason to own any of the 3 main consoles, depending on your tastes obviously.
If it had been exclusive to either of the other 2 there would have been a lot more hype as the marketing folks at Sony and ...
