Oooookay.
Mark my words, this game sat on a shelf for years before being revived at the urging of the likes of Yoshida and Boyce.
People act like this game has the battle scars of 8 years of work. My feeling is there was at least one long gap in the middle of that timeline.
To me, this is far from nearly canceled, but rather only relatively recently restarted.
Kinda tired of people talking about how games are "bad because they're linear." Linear games are linear, it's a game type.
Not everyone has to like them, but it's bizarre to me how they describe it as a design flaw. It'd be like saying "what a terrible track based racing game, you're stuck on a track the whole game." When what they should be saying is "I don't like track based racers."
Just because you do...
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!
Bathyj, you hit the nail on the head. Easy shoulder swapping is KEY for FPS games.
I agree. The question should be "Which one should I buy first?"
Start with the one with the most games you want to play right now and then get them all eventually. Why miss out on exclusives?
Agree, my headline is:
I Knew That Already: Confirms My Ears.
Well, about 5 years ago I bought the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS3 for $19.99. It featured dozens of games. What I mean to say is it's not an apples to apples comparison. Very old games lose some value, in terms of market perception.
How does this make any sense? If you never played it, then full price isn't unreasonable. If you did play it, then why care how much it is?
Sony, imo.
Both were good though.
Disagree. Sony had a stronger showing but a less tight presentation. There was that lull in the middle, but that just added like 20 minutes and made them run long.
Ultimately Microsoft's conference, while good, was mostly multiplats and reissues. Sony did have a number of multiplats as well, but at least some were implied to be timed exclusives.
Microsoft banked a lot on the Halo rehash, which looks really good actually and represents a great value, but i...
Yep, I have a big crow sandwich for a couple of people around here who told me my expectations that it would look better than the Order (also gorgeous btw) were "highly unrealistic."
You're right. Why must every race be artificially forced into every fiction or it will be accused of being racist? We should be beyond this by now.
Sometimes I just wish the stories themselves had a disagree button.
LMAO dude. Bubbles, for sure.
@georgeenoob, often you're tiresome, but that was quite witty.
Anyway, this means we see it tomorrow or at Gamescom for sure.
Tomorrow is basically a lock though, because it has long been an E3 white whale.
@Copen
If,and likely when, you're proven right, the Xbox fan(boy) base will team up with Microsoft to go into permanent denial.
Nearly every top dev had been asking for unified memory. You can't please everyone.
You got one from me for the same reason. Balance should be encouraged.
The one I'm most anticipating is Uncharted. While I think Guardians will be great and do love FPS games, lately TPS games get me more excited. Also, well...next gen Naughty Dog? Yes please.
Agree.
Personally, I think the game is fantastic.
Play them and the Last of Us if you haven't played that. Their games are insanely good.
