part of the reason I started downloading movies is because the wait for a DVD/bluray release is so long, and I've stopped going to theaters because of their outrageous prices, it's just not worth it anymore. If the dvd release came earlier I would rent the movie rather than download it

If you REALLY wanna get technical it's the CRTC and it's draconian licensing issues that are stopping sony from releasing movies on the canadian PSN. I love my country very much, I mean we get free health care and no matter where we travel in the world everyone loves us. I'm proud that american's wear Canadian flags on their bags when they travel to get special treatment. But by god I want some movies on my PSN!!! And better tv shows....

here's a novel thought, instead of capping bandwidth and lowering overall speeds, how about they make like the asians and upgrade their servers? It might result in a price increase, but I would rather higher prices and better net speeds than to loose unlimited data or deal with bandwidth caps.
Guaranteed Bioshock and Hitman both have multiplayer, and if they don't the critics dock points for them NOT having it, even though the single player aspect of both will be absolutely phenomenal
Everything seems good, except for the vehicles. I'm sorry but WaW ruined vehicles for me cuz everyone just mad rushes the tanks and camp out in them racking up kills instead of going for objectives.

why do people wave the sales flag around so much? As has been said before sales != quality. Look at some of the greatest games in history, for example Argonauts and Ico/SotC. Not huge heavy hitters in the sales department, but excellent games none the less. The only thing that high sales levels prove is that a game is mainstream. It appealed to a vast group of individuals who then bought the game.
