This proves that a powerful system is nothing without first party developers who are able to utilize it, and based on what we saw, I don't think they'll be able to utilize it against some of Ps4's exclusives, much less 5's.
These games didn't look bad, but not one of them looked like a system seller, or have the ability to get gamers to change platforms. I don't know how popular this will be, but for a system that's being called the strongest of next gen, those games didn't look much better than Sony's current ps4 exclusives.
The Mafia franchise has such a great premise, but so far hasn't been able to fully utilize it.
You know you're doing something right when a masterpiece like this is your 17th best game.
Anything that's less than a 95 is considered a "disappointment" now. There are some people saying that Naughty Dog must've expected the last of us 2 to do better with critics, despite sitting at a 94, which is only 1 point less than the first game's 95.
One of the writers said during an interview she's alone now.
I think the issue is the Blue case, they should change it to white or black to match the header.
Can't say I'm surprised, especially with how many people keep buying it on every system it's released on.
The question isn't if people will buy games for that price, but how many games.
I'd say the scars were the scariest, as I had no idea what they were planning with their whistling.
Seeing this would've completely killed the surprise. This is exactly why I rush story based games, as it takes no time for spoilers to start showing up everywhere.
Unlike you I stood my ground like a real warrior...with a stick...and got killed. Maybe running away wasn't a bad idea lol.
That's why I play stealth with the other enemies, as it leaves me with plenty of ammo and other goods when it's time to face something like this.
simple, shoot it, a lot, really a lot.
No matter how far we advance, stories like this show we haven't advanced anywhere near as much as we'd like to believe.
A lot of gamers will be doing this, as a lot of games aren't worth that, or $60 for that matter.
Games in general will be selling less, as quality developers will be getting all the sales, while everyone else will be left behind.
Not only are we going to see the base prices go up, but they'll still include microtransactions and DLCs. I think around 20% of game developers will be out by the time next gen comes to an end, as gamers will start selecting what games they buy and invest in a lot more carefully.
The last of us 2, by far. Not only do I expect it to remain the best game of the year, but this generation as a whole.
I couldn't think of a better way for Sony to end the generation, as this game is nothing short of a masterpiece.
