Yeah Xbox E3 actually further motivated me to wait to purchase XSX, till probably early 2023. Starfield may push me sooner if not delayed, and there’s some seriously interesting titles coming after that. But that show cemented zero reason to upgrade from the 1X until then for me.

This game looks got damn incredible, seriously excited

I had no idea so i pulled up some gameplay. Nothing like ME honestly. More like a blend of gears of war and Destiny. Could be good, I'm always up for new sci-fi

Returnal looked awesome, bit of arcade meets AAA. Just learned Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo are timed exclusive, pretty surprising to me

I'm also confused, I loved HZD and the sequel will be day one for me no doubt, but the melee system was easily the worst part of the game. Spamming square, no upgrades, no combos, clumsy, not even a light/heavy attack variant if I recall correctly

Yeah I’ve got a Pro and it’s nice little bump in quality of life but certainly not essential. If you can I’d just wait for PS5

There's nothing wrong with getting excited when a favorite music artist puts out a new album or a director you like has a new film releasing. Lots of people are drawn to Kojima's previous work, it's ok to get excited. I'd think the mystery around this game and how it actually plays would only add to that excitement for fans of Kojima's previous stuff

This. Unless you like MUT you’re SOL

There’s a reason people still play 2k5.

Nope, only thing I was hoping for too. Pretty disappointing conference overall. No Gears gameplay, no real Halo gameplay, no Scarlet games shown off, lots of multiplats (Cyberpunk and Dying Light 2 look dope), and Ninja Theory is making a mp game...

On the bright side Ori looked cool, the Double Fine acquisition was surprising, and I really like the direction MS is moving in with Game Pass, X cloud, and a focus on games (eventually)

I think Tango Gameworks might reveal their next project, the creative director tweeted out that he’d be at E3 this year. They’re definitely gonna talk about Blades... and I think we may also see some Switch ports too i.e. FO4 but overall yeah, I’m keeping my expectations as low as possible.

TES 6 is too far away to realistically expect anything, however if they surprise us with some Starfield gameplay I’d be more than satisfied.

Yep. As far as I can tell their “big hitters” are a Wolfenstein spin-off, FO76 DLC, and Doom Eternal. Doesn’t really seem to justify holding a press conference, so maybe there will be a surprise or two, but I’m not counting on it.

I want to disagree with you but... No Sony, no Nintendo, Ubisoft shows new AC? BG&E2? Bethesda confirmed no Elder Scrolls or Starfield, and EA... Maybe a Star Wars update. I’m sure there’ll be surprises but it’s underwhelming overall, I really hope MS crushes it this year.

Rumor is Playground is developing a next gen Fable, so it may not be dead yet. I certainly hope so, as I love the franchise and actually believe it never truly reached its potential.

Huh interesting, while I still doubt Cyberpunk releases this year, if it did that’d be a 3 year window to release the next game which is completely plausible.

The game looks so much improved from that Gameinformer gameplay reveal, very happy Sony allowed time for Bend to polish this one. However the human AI looked pretty rough in this video, (reaction time, not noticing dead bodies) hopefully it comes down to a difficulty setting. Still looks like a top notch experience overall though, definite buy for me.

Nah $499 tops, the PS3 taught Sony $599 was too far and PS4 demonstrated $399 is the magic number. Given the specs that have been announced, $499 is justifiable for the upgrade, but there's no way Sony exceeds that threshold again. And that's awesome you and your son will be gaming together! I hope to do the same someday.

I read it chief, no where in the article does it explicitly say you cannot buy credits, but you would know that if you had read it. Seems you're a little to anxious to defend this game. However I admit I only played the beta and was unfamiliar with the different currencies, honestly I'm surprised a GaaS game like Anthem does not allow you to purchase in game currency for all of its cosmetics, my bad.

Lol I did read it, it cost 36k. It seems your comprehension skills are lacking, if you don't have enough in game credits after unlocking it, people will purchase credits with real $ as opposed to grinding for it. It's just a quick cash in on ME fans
