It baffles me to hear that videogame companies think that we, as videogame consumers, have nothing to do with the game industry, and thus are now being excluded from E3. I wonder, just to play Devil's advocate, what would happen to all these companies if we stoped our contribution to the gaming industry (AKA stopped buying games), and stopped giving our honest, unbiased opinions on games. Once again, this is a clear indication that companies do not give a rat's behind about what the consumers...
Well, I disagree with this "expert" in that I do not think that consoles will go away. I also agree with all of you who pointed out that the 360 and PS3s ARE multi-core machines (is this guy living under a rock and calling himself a games expert?). However, he does have a point that I agree with. Consoles need to stop pretending to be PCs. Actually, this game will not be washed out on the 360. The developers have had more time to work on it for the 360, so I would not be surprised if it actually performs better on the 360 (as most games do). The only reason why it is coming out on the 360 later is because the 360, unlike the PS3, has alot of GOOD games (and a few exclussives to add insult to injury)coming out this fall.
