Oh we gotta love these kinds of games.
I wish there were guns, but I know guns don't exist in the world of Elder Scrolls. Haha.
I agree with the author that it's hard to resist detouring from the main task - we will always get tempted to check that shack we see along the day.
Looking forward to another Fallout after Skyrim, too.
I played the SP on PS3 (rental) - I tried to see how I would do in MP, and as usual I suck at the controller.
Even if Homefront went as low as $9.99 I feel it's not worth the purchase since I've already finished the story. For those who are just curious about the story, it's only average...and short.
Many already fall for that nowadays, I'm afraid. Also some write "there" instead of "their"... :-D
One game company used to pack thick manuals with their games back in the 80's and 90's: Microprose. We'd get so much information and background of the game (M1 Tank Platoon's thick manual gave so much info about Tank warfare in history, even if they were considered redundant for the game), that it was part of the fun if you loved to rea...
Oh yeah, Sid Meier, one of the great pioneers of game design! Gotta love "Pirates!", "Civilization", "F-19 Stealth Fighter", "Gunship".
If he will lend me his brain, I'd love to design a game, too. :-)
I'm keeping a close eye on this one. X-COM fan right here.
R.A.T. 9 is the wireless version of this mouse :-)
It's accurate for FPS, but I found the mouse on the heavy side so I feel it impedes aiming speed. I only tried the RAT 7 and I am more used to light mice. Of course, it all boils down to personal preference - others like heavy mice.
Good luck on your search for the perfect gaming mouse.
As a side note, the new Razer Imperator 4G is very responsive (hopefully it doesn't crap out on me in the next few months). I expect the SteelSeries Sensei I ordered...
Many fans of a series easily get angry when they hear some changes to the stuff they are used to. I somewhat agree with Steve Jobs' belief about being secretive, because he said the fans don't know what they want until they see and experience your product.
In the age of the internet, backlashes are very common. We often hear of threats of non-purchases, pre-order cancellations and boycotts (that are hardly being kept anyway). If you're an innovator and try to se...
@RufustheKing:
Yes you'll get spot assist points (I think about 10 points).
@Criminal, that was helpful to everyone.
I highly recommend this game to console gamers. I think it's only 20 bucks.
Don't forget to throat lift the enemy! (I can't say "North Koreans")
So you're not experiencing any texture pop-ins at all? What's the Nvidia driver version that you have installed?
I was excited for this game for months - preordered at Best Buy but I backed out on release day after reading about the graphical problems. I figured this wasn't worth the Day 1 purchase. I can put this off for a few months since Rage is mainly a single player experience. Only three weeks to go for BF3 anyway, and 2 more after that for MW3. Oh my God, I just realized there's also Skyrim in the same week as MW3!
I understand the frustration my fellow PC gamers are go...
Pre-ordered at Best Buy - will get 800 reward points for it (equivalent to $10 credit). Gonna pick this up tomorrow right after work! :-D
Yes, I also noticed that we can't change our keybinds without getting into the action first, and that means you're a sitting duck while you experiment with the controls.
At first I thought Battlefield 3 was a browser game after playing the beta for the first time - launching a game from a browser was very new to me. :-D
I don't know if they are still available anywhere for PS2 or the first Xbox, and there's nothing on Steam either.
But yes, it was a solid game, third person shooter, and had a compelling plot.
Hand out more Doritos.
Oh wow, I'd likely buy a flightstick, throttle, and pedals if the developers do Mechwarrior properly!
That's what happened to Fallout:New Vegas, not until a driver update did the framerates significantly got better after the day of release.
AWright! That's my card! (SC version) :-D
They're just reskinned G9x mouse and G110 keyboard only.
Had the G110 only for a month and it crapped out on me, probably because of a bad pick from the shelf on my part.
