On the foyer outside building 115 in Redmond Washington today, workers unpacked a VERY large box emblazoned with the words "XBOX - Life Size Master Chief." This is headed for E3 -- bet on it.

You can pick up the drums for about $40 (I've seen them as low as $10 on Craigslist); guitars can be had for as little as $10; and mics for $10 or less. If you grow your hair long enough, you won't be able to see that they're not identical to the ones in this overpriced bundle.

was the original Stuntman on PS2. Insanely hard and, unlike the newer Stuntman:Ignition, there's no "Easy" mode.
I have one of the TAC adapters and it worked great with my old PS2 version of Guitar Hero 1, and allowed me to use that guitar with Rock Band. But no more.... :-(
And if you make it known that you ARE abusing it, you'll punish the rest of us who appreciate (and deserve) a less intrusive approach to digital rights management.
I own Katamari Damacy and run it quite happily on my backwards-compatible PS3, but if they want more of my money, they're going to have to step up the graphics quality. All the PS3 eye-candy has spoiled me, I fear.
on PS3 and iTunes. No need to transcode the Xvid files I download; MKV files can automatically transcode to SD or HD MP4 video that works well on my wireless network. Thumbs up!
What happens if a "next gen" console costs $69 or less and plays games that look as good as those on the PS3 or Xbox 360? That's a possibility here. And yes, I agree that latency is likely to be a problem. Still, a $69 HD console would provide formidable competition to the current-gen leaders -- especially the Wii.
That would really be a game changer, so to speak. And this could give a Wii or an Apple TV (etc.) the capability to play 720P/60 fps "HD" games, if it was released for these or other similarly "underpowered" consoles. If they don't screw it up with insanely high per-game pricing, of course. Watch out, STEAM.
