I think I understand both sides of the argument with Microsoft purchasing Activision. Just 2 things that bother me.
Firstly, I'm not sure any company spending this much to buy a company is better than if they just invested this money in developing new IP.
Secondly, I am unsure history will backup the statements Microsoft have made recently.
Note: As a part time gamer I mainly game on PS with PS+. I do still use my XSX but don't...

Each to their own I suppose. Personally though I like the cost of a yearly subscription. Does enough for the right price for me.
Used the box for PSVR also. Keep the scopes dust free.
Going to miss the youtube app. So easy to use for the kids in the house. I can understand most of your decisions today Sony but losing youtube is short sighted.
Add in Playstation Now and this little device has a big future!

Just hope I won't find to hard to go back to my generation 7 console when a game pops up that I just have to play.
I know not everyone is concerned about it but DLNA support is important to me and I hope it comes quickly to PS4.

Probably true for most but I still would like a sweetener in NZ where the price difference between the two consoles isn't as pronounced. Come on Sony and announce something along the lines of the UK bundle.

I would imagine Sony would have a feature where it becomes linked to your account. Otherwise a lot of people will be buying the ps3 copy purely so they could sell it early, keep the vita version and make a few dollars.
He normally says the right things, but ultimately Xbox is no better than it was 10 years ago.
