I never said it didn’t look fantastic or that it doesn’t look good. All I was saying was that it did not look “next gen.” God Of War, Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Last Of Us Part II all looked on par with or better than Gears 5. Those games were all in the PS4/Xbox One gen. So they looked like really great “current gen” games. Thats all I was saying.
Thanks for the recommendations, but other than ori and forza those games aren’t really exclusive. Are those all on gamepass? If not, Id rather get them on PS5 since its a lot more powerful than the series s. Plus I like the controller haptics and triggers on PS5 a lot. I’ll have to give ori a try. I am not into racing games either. I have a plague tale and still have to beat it.
The graphics are good, but they certainly aren’t “next gen.” Did you see the Unreal Engine 5 tech demo? The Horizon: Forbidden West trailer was also very next gen. Gears of war 5 really doesn’t look next gen.
I might be in the minority, but the 14 minutes of the gameplay they showed seemed to be something I am not very interested in.
Side note, does anyone have any recommendations for xbox exclusives? I just got an xbox series s (I haven’t played xbox since the 360). I got game pass for 3 months for just $1. So far I don’t like gears 5 after trying it out for 3-4 hours. The one game I love so far is Sunset Overdrive. I have Halo 5 downloaded as well, but haven’t played it yet. ...

I would argue that it is very comparable. Excluding first party titles, they both have a good selection of (and often the exact same) video games to stream and download. PSnow actually has more games on offer and they include their own games on the service as well, just like gamepass. The only difference is the fact that xbox exclusive games made by xbox studios are released day one on gamepass whereas playstation waits months before putting their games on PSnow. So they ...

I would like to point out that Sackboy: A Big Adventure is not going to have any creation tools added to it. The only thing the developer has announced is that the multiplayer will be added by the end of the year. The developer has already stated that they didn’t want to have any creation tools in this game because they wanted to focus on just making it a fun platformer.
