True! My fear is that exclusiveness won't last. I hope it does.
6GB of RAM is definitely future proof, but bear in mind how long 512MB has lasted on the 360, especially when all the console uses it for is running the game and the dashboard.
Awesome game! Wish QD'd do an HD remake.
Excellently put, sir!
Does it not strike you as at least somewhat noteworthy that people consistently praise Morrowind as the strongest Elder Scrolls title some ten years and two predecessors later?
That you heard the exact same thing about Oblivion is worrying, too; it shows that Bethesda really didn't fix the issues that were raised, like the clunky combat, the unresponsive world, and the repetitive dungeons. (That Bethesda failed to include mounted combat in Skyrim until only very recently ...
G-Police, damn it! Won't somebody think of the G-Police?!
At the cutting edge of video games journalism.
Out of curiosity, how so? :)
shintowave - So are you!
But do you not think that now Molyneux is functioning as an indie developer without Microsoft's interference, he'll be capable of actually delivering his promises?
Quite.
Yes yes, "back in the day".
The description clearly states that this is a *discussion*. The question posed to the panel is "is traditional handheld gaming doomed?". They are fully entitled to agree or disagree as much as they want, and they do both.
People who read the description will not be mislead.
That's fair enough. Perhaps you'd've found your sentiments echoed had you read the article.
They are new, but they're stills from the new concept art trailer, not official releases.
A good thing this discussion isn't about the death of PC gaming, then!
Right, of course you have. You were obviously expecting a fanboyish discussion of whether or not the "PC is dead", which is absolutely not what it was about.
The fact that you say it's an "article" proves my point. It's a roundtable discussion of writers sharing their thoughts, not some one-sided opinion piece. One writer thinks the PC is absolutely not slowing down in growth, another thinks that the PC has simply shifted its focus, and another do...
Clearly you haven't read the article.
I think the question we should all be asking is: "Who gives a damn?"
These are all bad examples. "Worst storylines" implies games that set out to create engaging narratives; if you were put off by Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect, that would make more sense. Super Mario Bros. and Contra had a few panels of text to string together platforming levels.
