"I assume everything here is in engine and there does seem to be some in game footage."
It was rendered real time no smoke and mirrors.

characters are also metahuman based. UE5 is truly nuts.
Right, the IP though is still multiplatform. For how long not sure.
Bungie currently doesn't have many new IPs.
They also sold 3 of their IPs. Myth and Oni were sold to Take Two Interactive decades ago. And Halo sold to MS. Along with Destiny being co-developed with Activision.

this was like so close to the second movie, in terms of detail. it almost felt like it was cannon.
very impressive work.
It looks like a few Korean MMOs, black desert from Pearl Abyss Or anything from Ncsoft.
I think it looked great with all of the RT stuff enabled. without RT, very much close to the quality of the companies listed above.
Now it's really ahead - Open world + Ray tracing @ 60fps.
still needs a bit more power though to run it. but at least it works.
Played this on 360 and already own this on steam. Glad to hear gamers are enjoying the game. I may take a look into the remaster whenever down the line.
It's definitely a great game.
Never would have thought the character would be a sensation, if they do change the design I think they probably just keep both and allow gamers to switch in settings. Play against the default war hardened brutes and a setting for the Craig's.
Just for the laughs. Sounds like fun to me.
I was thinking that RT would be a situation for the game. If you do the math it would have to do RT for many cars at 4k 60fps. When most current RT games just focus on a couple surfaces. RT is definitely a big compromise.
It's not clear how long it will take for the porting process. initially Sony intended on releasing games to PC at a pace. Before they started gathering port reception. so. Ports may be expected to take a bit longer than originally. With the help of nixxes this time around.
" but each iteration was a half step at best, not to mention some dodgey writing at times."
...none of the tomb games before had "brilliant writing".....she fought dragons and dinosaurs with infinite ammo enabled. The games were made in a day when most didn't think on the logistics. Like Michael bay films.
Anyways the new series is supposed to lead into the original trilogy, as her butler makes his debut in the third game. But sin...
Currently
PC - 100 GBs
Xbox - 93 GBs
i wonder what the specs are for actual raytraced gameplay at 60fps. if they recommend a 14tflops card that's probably the reason. RT is always expensive. only way to know for sure. See the figures this November.
The face does seem a little inflated though I think. Which is hard to imagine with all of the athleticism in game. Animations do look great to say the least. Imo.
some very impressive animations and work. not too many single player games with this type of hyper action. characters i see also have been refined, now reassembling FF7 remake faces and hair more or less.
keep up the good work!!! definitely going to play this when i can.

features actual rendered nose hairs among skin hairs. that's more than enough detail i think. not even the highest budget games feature nose hairs yet. indie games will sure to receive a huge boost by using this in their projects.
"That's sort of how people were about Death Stranding until it went to PC"
90% of steam users mentioned to expect it's mechanics though. before an outright purchase.
it being said, the game is enjoyable if you already know what to expect.
"This round includes an additional $200M strategic investment from Sony Group Corporation"
interesting. Just a few days ago epic reported a couple annual losses in other divisions. now their losses have been sustainably covered through more investments. and to think epic was going to be effected, judging by all the comments and votes.

i'm guessing next would be - an xbox that can switch between playing it's own games and games on pc.
not a bad idea if done right. while still remain a console at it's core and formfactor.
