The 65nm chips are out, but unfortunately only the CPU is 65nm, the GPU is still 90nm. The CPU was already properly cooled, the GPU will get the 65nm treatment late 2008.

The Impreza 2.5i and WRX have been out for a little while now, but not the WRX STI.

Its only logical you know, with the PS3 & Wii being available for less than a year.

I'm using a widescreen 22 inch for both my 360 & PS3. But I'm in the market for a 40-42 inch 1080p (I can only afford one TV so I'm not wasting my time on 1080i) HDTV at the moment. These things are nice to know.

@sticky doja

You have a 10000 RPM HDD because you have a PC, not a laptop. PC HDDs top out at 15000 RPM, a laptop HDD will top out at 7200 RPM.

The PS3 uses a 'laptop' HDD, not a PC HDD, BTW 5400 & 7200 RPM laptop HDDs are common in laptops (4200's are used in ultra compact laptops and iPods).

7200 RPM aren't 'always' faster than 5400 RPM HDD because of areal density. If the areal density of a 5400 HDD is higher than that of a 7200 HDD, the 540...

Ever since the 360 launch there has been issues. They denied any problems since the launch, then a few month later they extended the warranty from 90 days to 1 year (still denying the 360 has problems). Then earlier this year they finally admitted the 360 has a design flaw and claim those problems have been addressed and extended the warranty AGAIN to 3 years (only after some really bad press about the RRoD).

I got my 360 December '05 and it still works... barely. I get numerou...

I got my 360 before my PS3. The 360 feels like it was designed to cost more than the PS3.

The 360 accessories, play & charge kit, HD-DVD drive, Wi-Fi (total rip-off), IR remote (I got the little one for free), and headset.

The only accessories for the PS3 is a bluetooth remote and bluetooth headset (but any cellphone headset will work).

I'm pretty sure that Microsoft did this on purpose. Sell a console for a lower price and then sell a bunch of...

Can you clarify that? It sounds totally false...

13 million Ratchet and Clank 1, 2, or 3?
14 million Halo 1, 2, or 3?

I never played Ratchet and Clank before, I mostly played my Xbox last gen. I'm totally getting this for sure though :)

...but sometimes I get REALLY scrambled up graphics or the video goes totally black. My friend said this happened to his just before they red ringed (he had 2, one at home & one at his girlfriend's house, he traveled with the HDD and games).

I got spooked and haven't used it for about 2-3 months (sucks because I REALLY liked Pac-Man C.E.). Even though I've been playing my PS3 more & more recently, I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and get Halo 3. I wanna finish the figh...

@Monchichi025

I disagree with you because if I choose to upgrade my 360 with all of that stuff (which I'd like to do), it'll cost more than my PS3. BTY $100 for the Wi-Fi adapter is a total rip.

The Falcon 360 is a poor revision in my opinion.

The Falcon 360:
65nm CPU
90nm GPU

Isn't the main problem with the GPU and not the CPU?

My thoughts:
MS must have originally planed to change the CPU first, THEN the GPU, before the RRoD was a wide-spread issue. After they discovered the GPU had heat issues, they sh...

@ Whoooop

This website is trash. How can they give Heavenly Sword 10/10 when they haven't even played it (Sony "forgot" to send them a copy).

They Gave Gears of WAR 4/10.

Those are two reasons never to visit this site again.

Capcom is giving both games the HD treatment.

Dude, just bite the bullet and get them on Blu-Ray (for true 1080p experience).

@ SDS Gamerfiend

Do you have any links that show the 65nm chips are out. I've seen the "NEW" 360s that come with the extra GPU heatsink & epoxy glue, but they still had the 90nm chips though.

I did this yesterday, I used my 120GB HDD from my Mac Book Pro.

The first caddy screw wasn't too bad, but the other 4... I striped 3 of them. They're super tight, so tight that I warped/twisted a screwdriver out of shape!

I removed the striped screws with a pair of vice-grips. I clamped down on the heads horizontally and twisted them free. I replaced the striped screws with standard HDD screws, but I could only use 2 screws. The screws aren't flat, they're rounde...

"...can anybody tell me the status of PS3 Hardware Emulation in USA, I know they removed it for Europe have they done the same here?"

As far as I know, the PS3 still has the PS2 EE+GS [CPU+GPU] chipset in the US and Japan. But, Sony stated that will change though (I think by the end of 2007). I have both the 360 and PS3, and Sony's hardware solution is WAY better than Microsoft's software solution (you don't have to wait for any games to be added to the list).
