I too am not a fan of the combat system, but I like everything else. Judges!!!
TBH this isn't new. EA did it with Dead Space 3 on their own website, Wolfenstein Panzer Edition, etc. They should at least include a digital code or sell the CE much cheaper - those physical stuff aren't expensive to make (most of the time).
Soon to be Dragon Quest Builders.
This is a perfect example of a game crafted with care, passion and love.
It's in the vein of games of Icewind Dale, pillars of eternity, planetscape, etc.
How do you feel about the combat system? Honestly I hate it - the whole flux, talisman juggling is stupid and singularities are worthless.. Everything else is great though!
Lying about pools, putting so much detail into neighbourhoods but so little space to actually build and how they split up DLC into 3 different categories with outrageous prices... That's EA!
Well I mean... they already destroyed the beloved SimCity! I don't think EA really cares, b/c they know they will still make thousands-millions off of Sims3.
@MasterCornholio
I usually ask the PR people at the developers' website, and they are so polite and speedy at responding. But yeah, the people for Inside, We Happy Few, etc. said it would make its way to other platforms. Fun times for all!
Please be darker in story/lore-wise like D1 and D2. Like seriously, make me question my sanity!
Also (this may be subjective) but, I'd like to be able to allocate my stats again.
I believe one is a remastered version of the first, and is INCLUDED with G.E2 (at least for the Day One Edition).
Makes me wonder why big publishing houses always hire these junk conversion companies, when you can get stellar results from Nixxes, Bluepoint Games, etc.
Claire Redfield?
When in doubt, use TinEye/Google reverse image search.
According to TinEye, the game is Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3.
Chibi, turn-based FF themed game. Has a bit of monster breeding/collecting, too. It really sells on the fact it has guest appearances of characters from previous FF titles.

Something, something Dragon's Dogma!
Does NOX (PC) count? I don't know what THE BEST is (nor should there ever be a singular one) but I had very fond MEMORIES of Fallout 1 and 2.
FFX-2 had 99,999 DMG as well, and if you were the "gunner" class (I forget the official name of it), and a quick trigger finger, you could hit multiple of those!
I remember an old article for World of Warcraft, and how Blizzard didn't like how things were bottling down to a "numbers" game with each passing expansion.
At the end of the day though, damn do you feel powerful whopping those little mobs/bosses in one fell swoop!
Edit: F...
There is also an HD remake of Yakuza 1 coming. Don't know about N.A, but fingers crossed!
One of my favourite artists, too. Right up there with the equally competent Akihiko Yoshid (Tactics Ogre). I got a few of their artbooks; I treasure them dearly.
And yes, what a shame about the cover art - I would have liked them to continue the tradition.
