Doesn't mean he has to have practically no personality at all. that's probably my biggest problem with the story/characters in arkham city: batman just really has no personality. oh, that and the guy doin the penguin is using the most annoying accent.
You know...if you're just going to shower the same praise on a game that it already got for months after it came out, just don't bother. if it's status quo, and it's late, it's pointless.
your comment shows how much of a fanboy you are. i clearly said i enjoy the series and will be getting this game at midnight (day one). so ihave a ps3. you didn't even bother to read my comment. you just saw the first part and immediately went into SDF mode. which is nothing less than i'd expect from the community on n4g.
you're right, those weren't cut scenes (most of it), and i'm right, it's not very impressive. looks good, not great. cut scene...
there isn't that big of a leap from UC1 to UC3. you fanboys see a cutscene and trick yourselves into thinking this is what you're seeing in game. it's not.
the fact is UC's cut scenes look great...but that's due to an incredible amount of detail added by the artists that have nothing to do with the in game graphics. yes, it's the same engine, but that doesn't mean it's the same level of quality.
the number of exclusives available is irrelevant to anyone who owns more than one console. and this far into the generation, i'm sure that's a pretty big percentage. i own 360 and ps3, so i have more choices than anyone who owns one or the other...i still prefer the 360 exclusives. and if i were completely broke, i'd reserve my money for them.
it's a tired argument and it's just another example of excuse making from the sdf.
while i certainly enjoyed R3, brand awareness as an excuse for the 3rd game is a joke. that's a cheap excuse. if the series were any good, it would have had brand awareness. the fact is R1 was average and R2 was crap. so nobody paid attention to R3. R3 was good, but who wants to take a chance on a Halo clone turned COD clone? nobody when there's a new COD every year and a relatively new halo that's infinitely more fun to play online.
i agree, it was a lot better than 2 and a lot of fun to play. i think the fact that dead island did so well and this did so poorly is a testament to how important advertising is. dead island is a giant, steaming pile of dog shit. haven't played a worse game since Too human.
@below: i couldn't talk a single friend into getting it to play along side me. bummer
agreed. there is nothing special or memorable about the maps. just make new ones please. i already paid for the bc2 maps when i bought bc2. i don't wanna pay for them again cuz the developers don't wanna invest the time in creating new maps.
hip fire might occur in many other games, but in Uncharted 3 you have massive auto aim too...it makes it feel like you're not even playing the game.
i just read the other article that showed the video of how easy it is and then turned on my ps3 and tried it...blew my mind. it felt like i was just running in circles holding R1 and someone else was doing the aiming. it's like a reverse rail shooter. instead of you aiming while the game moves you, you move while the g...
it doesn't mean it's the unpolished version. this MP leads right into the release and you get to keep your stats. i think it's a pretty safe bet at this point that what you see is what you get. there might be a buncha minor changes, but probably not anything noticeable.
what kind of gamer is okay with THAT much auto aim? and what will the game be reduced to when everyone realizes the winning strategy is "don't aim?" it's going to turn into COD (more so) with everyone just spraying and chucking nades everywhere while running in circles to confuse the auto aim as much as possible.
watching this video reminded me of the combat racing in rage.
I'll be doing the same thing before launch that i'll be doing after launch. not paying money to replay the same crappy game with the same crappy easy-mode gameplay with the same obnoxious people that think they are good at a game that lets you win by getting a foot-shot.
and don't say "that's realistic" because it's a moronic argument. realistic doesn't allow you to insta-swap weapons, doesn't allow you to reload that quickly, doesn'...
this site has no credibility. rage is a fun game, but you can't turn it on without noticing some of the flaws.
and the racing...what a joke. your guns aim for you, the controls are basic to the point of pointlessness, there is major rubber banding. you essentially win every race by staying in last place til the last 20-30 seconds, then just shoot everyone and hit your shield.
combat is good, graphics are okay, texture pop-in is a mess, and there is vir...
I'll take swapping discs over a massive, mandatory install. Then again, if your 360 has the space, you can do the install there too and don't have to swap.
But the reason why i'm here: this article is at the top with 124 comments. so imagine my surprise when i read it and saw that it's the same thing we've heard a dozen times before on numerous websites. Doesn't anybody screen this stuff?
i think the answer to that question is pretty simple. despite all their amazing games and all their choices, they have nothing better to do than troll articles. gives you an idea of the quality of those titles.
i own both systems, buy way way more games for 360. ps3 exclusives have disappointed me so many times that i'm not even sure i'll be getting UC3 at this point.
for the people making the dumbass excuse that it's cuz 360 doesn't have a...
