We'll see how Starfield and FFXVI fare against each other, and you slagging on FFXVI when Elda didn't even mention it, already just shows your insecurity. Also, we haven't even really seen Spider-Man 2 yet, so I think you should keep your expectations in check a bit more before running your mouth like an imbecilic fanboy. Starfield has the potential to be good, but let's see if it actually delivers on that front first.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that Sony also upgraded four of their biggest games from last generation from PS4 to PS5 for free as well. TLoU Part 2 (60fps, 4k, DualSense, 3D audio), GoW 2018 (60fps, 4k), Horizon Zero Dawn (60fps, 4k) and Ghost of Tsushima (60fps, free multiplayer support), all of which received free upgrades. Well deserved, the game is a masterpiece. I didn't think any game would challenge Elden Ring as my favorite game this year for me, but Ragnarok very well may have somehow topped it. ***Minor spoiler ahead***
The end game Berserker King boss fight might be one of my favorite boss fights of all-time, it was fucking epic.

You're more than entitled to call this a bullshit price hike by Sony, and that's fine. But there's also a business side to it as well, some may still call it Sony fleecing, fine again. But don't come in here and start shilling Gamepass when MS hasn't even put out one fucking first party game this year on it and act like it's the Holy Grail of gaming. It's not there yet.
Digging the Victorian setting, very akin to Bloodborne and definitely getting some FromSoft vibes from the game. Nice pickup for Xbox on GP, game looks dope.

PS2 and PS3 were both backwards compatible, so was PS4. To the extent of the Xbox ecosystem? No, but still there.
Sony started dabbling with Plus and free offerings with it on PS3 (along with free online at the time), which extended into PS4 along with PS Now, which got integrated into PS5 with different tiers. Nothing wrong with having options.

Eh, fair enough. Elden Ring is truly a special game. But Cyberpunk was hyped to Hell and back and that one certainly disappointed, at least to what was fully promised. I think with what we've seen so far of Black Myth, this game deserves a fair shake before it's potentially labeled as a disappointment.
