No console announcements means boring E3...they don't need E3 to announce games. New games are announced all the time.

It needs compelling exclusives. Not features. It's features this time around weren't very compelling either. A Kinect and a built-in cable box? Both of which were either lost interest in by the majority or a better product came out (the Comcast X1 boxes are better than the Xbox guide and they consume less power.)
