So in other words open the crypt and make room with the likes of: OnLive (failed), Gaikai (failed), LiquidSky (what?) GeForce Now (pretty quiet on the Western Front) and now this... Stadia will probably have a showing at the PC Game Show at this E3 and then no one will ever speak of it again.
Ah yes, that time Konami suckered all of us Metal Gears fans into paying for a physical release demo. I still have my copy with the reversible artwork. I remember liking it but being sad that the guards were way too serious and there were no more campy interjections; "I think I see something.." or "HUH!?" Not to mention lying down a magazine and they sit over it transfixed with hearts bubbling over their heads.
Senator Armstrong in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Man was he a bitch of a final boss.
I'm putting my money on May 2020 then it will probably get delayed last minute until Fall 2020. That's not exactly a long way off.
It depends on who you're talking too. I have friends with somewhat limited video game knowledge who pick up whatever new "Live Service" game which are consistently thrown in their face i.e. Anthem, Fortnight, Apex Legends, all that fast food crap the Corps. desperately pedal to make their money back. They assume with the ridiculous marketing budgets it must be the next big thing and couple that with a crippling case of FOMO... I have zero interest in any of those baseless multip...
There was no way in hell I wasn't getting a steelbook so I ended up ordering a copy from G3 in Cyprus. International shipping options are still unacceptably limited in 2019. GAME's checkout is such a mess and the copies on eBay were being so gouged they were unrecognizable. Amazon also needs to get with the program on International shipping.
Not really, there's a story but it's not as narrative driven as say Metal Gear Solid or Resident Evil. I would definitely pick up the DMC HD Collection and the HD Re-Release of 4 as well but it will be perfectly enjoyable for newcomers.
Devil May Cry all the way! ^_^
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. I still recommend it to those I meet which are fans of the originals. It had a lot of issues but I liked it better than 3. In fact 3 is now my least favorite when I reflect on my time with the four games over all.
It's not happening this year. The release at least. They may tease but that's about it. I'm perfectly happy with the Scorpio until 2021. If you're still using an OG Xbox from 2013 (I did from 2013-2017) there's an S or an X available.
Worst of the series. It was more like a Metal Gear Fox Engine Simulator because it felt like a poorly edited hack job pieced together the night before it was due which only made the story even more of a mess.
The "fire monster man" was the ghost of Colonel Volgin from Metal Gear Solid 3 but his appearance in V was underutilized and for what it was, incredibly underwhelming.
I can see Hideaki Itsuno doing Dragon's Dogma 2 now that Devil May Cry 5 is about to release. Now as for Resident Evil; is Code Veronica out of the question? I've always been very curious about it. I actually bought a copy for the Gamecube many, many years ago and I never opened it nor played it but I still have it.
I have 4 rechargeable batteries to alternate. Batteries eventually wear out in a few years. Buy new ones. Repeat.
I started Assassin's Creed Odyssey on January 1st and I set a goal I would finish it before Resident Evil 2 last Friday. Well, that did not happen. It just went on and on. I ended up doing a final 9 hour power hour[s] the other day and finally finished Odyssey. I absolutely refuse to move onto a new game before finishing the previous. It's never the same when you try and go back. It speaks volumes of people whom habitually don't finish games. That would make for a great social stu...
"The one big letdown is that Capcom unintuitively hides the alternate perspective content behind an extra playthrough." Really IGN? If they game is fantastic I don't think anyone will mind playing through it a second time almost immediately.
~The game was possibly the biggest disappointment of the Twenty-teens and a bitter end for my favorite series. Also, what the hell happened with the reviews? All those 9's and 10's; IGN even calling it a "Masterpiece." That was equally as shameful as Konami hocking an appallingly unfinished game onto the masses.
May 2020.
Fallout (but 76 has finally brought the chickens home to roost) then honorable mention for Red Dead Redemption and Nier. Both are ridiculously boring and I made it to the third playthrough of Nier (don't ask me how.)
~On my Birthday no less! I love Remedy. ^_^
