I've owned both an xbox and ps4, you only get to play the "free" games included with the subscriptions while you're still paying for it.

There's no subscription to cancel, you scrub. They really are free. You'd know this if you actually tried yourself instead of spreading your console fanboyism.
autobotdan, no one cares how you use your xbox live subscription. The fact is, live gold and ps plus games aren't free. You only get them when paying a subscription fee, and you don't even keep them unless you keep paying said subscription fee. You can argue all you want about how good of a deal it is - it's besides the point.
The bottom line is the value does not compare to Epic's free games, who don't even ask for any payment details.

It's crazy to me. You don't even need a subscription, you don't even need to hand them any credit card details which they "definitely won't use at some point". All you need is an account, and people still can't help but whine about something when they give away games for free.
Imagine putting your blood, sweat, and tears into making something, only for some corporate fatcat to make you release it early, and then a bunch of idiots blame you for it.
We see this with every great studio once they start to get big. Greedy execs fucking it all up.
Easily a 9 on PC if you aren't blinded by the controversy. Bugs are far less of an issue and will be fixed in subsequent patches.
With that being said, it's no excuse that they hid how bad the base-console versions were. There was no way for players to know or expect how bad these versions are because CDPR knowingly hid any footage of it, and naturally player trust in CDPR will be damaged.
It's a shame really, but it won't stop me playing ...

If you're buying the game and like it anyway, it shouldn't really be of any concern to you what the score is.
