@Obscure_Observer If you only want to upgrade every new generation you can still do that, no one is stopping you. The fact that there's a mid gen upgrade option has no effect on you.

Worst case scenario you bought a ps4 right before you find out this is happening and you cant afford to get the new one which you would of waited for and been able to get. In this case you have bad luck and I can see how that would suck. How am i getting back-stabbed again? Im happy with my console right now so I wont be upgrading and just going about my life as if nothing happens. If and when i feel i want to upgrade (probably when I get a new TV) I'll have the option for a better one.
I SERIOUSLY don't see how anyone can say such a thing. Loadouts, 2 guns ... COD. Lets ignore the fact that the core of any shooter, moving and shooting controls completely and absolutely night and day compared to COD.

They're network betas. Baring something drastic gameplay is usually 99% set. The betas are for testing netcode and stress test the servers. Still betas.
You guys need to pick a story and stick with it. It can't be that controllers can't compete with m/k because of the precision of a mouse AND that its harder to play with m/k. That makes exactly zero sense. Aim assists varies wildly from game to game.

People, I guarantee you this will be the same console simply playing up rezed versions of the EXACT same games. Can someone help me understand what people are complaining about? Theres no way they're going to have games only the new console can play. If this is true the only difference would be things look nicer on the new console. If you want that you buy it. If you don't you continue your life as if it never came out and you are completely unaffected.

My guess is they just didnt have the time to optimize it and getting it working for the ps4 at a level they wanted in time for launch. Idk if you noticed but that game didnt have the best launch and was probably rushed out the door.
True, but games are a lot more labor intensive for the GPU than the CPU mainly because they are now used for a lot more than actual graphics these days. Im pretty sure devs will take the delays in CPU execution vs the increase in GPU speed. It all depends on the instructions/programmer. I would need to do research on how the x1 is running now but i dont see a doubling as being possible unless its currently absurdly inefficient and the xbox engineers are terrible at their jobs which i doubt.
