Funny, the only time I ever come across anybody that claims to own multiple consoles, praise some then claim one simply gathers dust is on the internet, the people I personally know that spend the money on multiple consoles actually play them.

TLOU,Uncharted,Gears Of War can all be described as linear and they are some of my favourite games. even the Quantum Break game play footage looked linear.

In the long run if it is in fact coming to PC,PS4 at a later date I actually think it could help sales a bit.
Creates a bigger buzz when released on Xbox, doesn't have to directly compete with Uncharted on PS4, releases later then picks up PS sales( ok some may actually boycott but much like the Destiny fiasco is most likely just over zealous fanboy nonsense) and of course the TR fans on PC pick it up.
