INSANE.
The 360 and Wii are absolutely flying off shelves. Poor PS3, what the heck is Sony doing? 200,000 under them both in ONE WEEK? Ouch.
Ooof another 7/10?
Man, this may turn out to be one of the most overhyped games this generation.
Not bad, I did expect a little higher though.
Looks like Forza holds the crown this generation.
4/5, pretty good.
Very true.
Average to good scores, but I`ve yet to see anybody absolutely raving about the game.
I`m guessing it will average around a low 80 on Metacritic, not bad.
ASTOUNDING.
The 360 continues to dominate the competition in it`s 5th year, incredible.
With numbers like that, the gap should be widening at a nice steady pace right now, hell, its probably closer to 4 million at this point and the holidays have not even hit. Looks like Kinect is working wonders for the 360. By year end, the 360 should be up by 5 million.
Not only that, but it`s going to shoot the 360 hardware sales far past the PS3, hell, it already has.
The haters have been proven wrong because it looks like Kinect is going to lock the 360 into second until the end of the generation.
That`s good news for GT5, but I seriously doubt it`s going to have any impact when it comes to increasing hardware sales.
Well, that`s too bad for the PS3 I guess. Regardless of launch times, Playstation went from complete domination, to dead last in one generation, and it`s been 4 years, it should have passed the 360 by now, but it`s too late. By the time it does (assuming it even can) we`ll be in next gen. Too little too late.
Incredible.
45 million units, it`s only 5 years old, and it prevented Playstation from dominating another generation. Oh, how sweet that is.
Happy 5th to the 360, truly the best console this generation.
VERY strong start, especially when compared to the lackluster MOVE launch. Not only is Kinect beating out its direct competitor, but these tremendous sales are most definitely shooting 360 console sales past the PS3 as well.
Looks like Kinect will widen the overall 360/PS3 hardware gap to about 5 million by years end, despite what the haters say.
Easily 50 million, I would even say 55.
The PS3 will be down by 5 million by years end MINIMUM, maybe even as much as 7 or 8.
It`s going to be another few years before it ever catches up, and that`s if it even can.
So much for the "400,000" lead I was being led to believe existed.
Well, so much for that. The gap is at 4 million going into the holidays with Kinect inbound. The 360 will probably be ahead by about 5 million by years end.
That glimmer of hope for the PS3 didn`t last long.
Kinect is about to shake the gaming industry to it`s core. Expect it to SKYROCKET the 360 sales. The 360 will have a Wii-like sales effect once Kinect hits, and it`s going to leave everything else in the dust.
New Xbox incoming!
Everybody is pining for new consoles at this point and it looks like MS will lead the charge into next gen.
Wow, a 4 million unit lead for the 360 with Kinect incoming for the holidays. We should see that gap widen to about 5-6 million with the year`s end.
That`s because MS and Sony both reported shipped numbers, which is why the gap is actually around 4 million in reality.
And the 360 stomps the PS3 yet again, without Kinect even being out.
Yep, looks like it. I figured as much, and like I said, once Kinect hits, it`s pretty much over for the PS3, that`s the smallest the gap was ever going to get.
