I've played all but one of these (Lone Survivor). It's missing the gems that are Siren 1 and 2, but I'm glad to see Haunting Ground and Echo Night get recognition, they are fantastic.
Rule of Rose is great too, but a lot of the game takes place on the rather dull airship, sadly; it would have been great if they had a few more changes to the scenery. I loved Brown and Jennifer.
Call of Cthulhu was a disappointment; once you get the gun and enough...
At the end of the day, the only thing that matters to Capcom is sales, and thankfully DmC has barely managed to sell half of what DMC4 sold with the same amount of time on the market. That's despite their being no competition this month and twice as many consoles sold since 2008.
I will not buy a PS4 if it has no backwards compatibility. My PS3 has been broken for a while now, and I have a few games in my backlog I'd like to play. Sony is trying to charge me more to fix it than it would be to buy a new one, I'd rather get a Wii U or (lol) Vita than replace my twice broken PS3. I already dislike Sony because of the many issues I've had with them in the past, but no BC would be the straw that broke the camels back.
It's not being ported because the Vita is selling incredibly poorly, and Sony doesn't seem to care about fixing the situation. Why should third parties risk it when Sony themselves aren't even bothering with their own handheld?
Why would you lie and pretend like you expected SMT x Fire Emblem? There is no way in hell anyone predicted that. Stop being an idiot, PLEASE.
At least they aren't as bad as Gust.
The Vita is selling like wet paper, what do you expect?
Do you have to eat dog crap to be allowed to say it tastes like crap?
I've played enough of Ninja Theory's games to know the gameplay won't be up to snuff. They were games you played for the story, and from videos I've seen, DmC doesn't even have that going for it.
This is a PS3 fanboy site. If the article doesn't involve PS3, bashing 360/WiiU, or breasts, it isn't viewed.
Grind doesn't equal challenge or difficulty. The only thing it tests is your patience.
To be fair, Nintendo had 6 years to take in and learn from Microsoft's and Sony's mistakes this gen, and yet they learned nothing.
When you literally copy almost everything your competitor has been doing for years, right down to the menu designs, its really hard to screw up.
So if I were to review Dragonquest and give it a 0/10 because its not CoD enough, that's absolutely fine with you?
The first one actually sold rather well considering it was a new IP exclusive to one console. Two and three sold poorly, however.
Amnesia is overrated more often than it is overlooked. I'd toss one of the Siren games in its place.
Opposed to the PS3, which asked you if you want Singstar on top of your games menu. Oh, wait...
You could also just watch a live stream of the game you are looking to buy on twitch tv or any other streaming site. Almost every new game is always streamed by some random gamer, and its the best way to see if a game is worth buying. No doctored screenshots, no hype, misleading trailers, just one dude playing the game.
I've bought (and avoided) quite a few games because I liked (or didn't like) what I saw on a stream, and I've never regretted a purchase since.
Just wait for Ultimate Resident Evil 6: Gold Edition 2013.
