The first NG had really fast action. If that kind of action is slowed down by a framerate issue in NG2 then they have a real problem that can't be overlooked. The fast pase action was the coolest part of the game. Im a multi-plat gamer but Slim Daddy, the rrod problem is a really old insult, you have to put that one to rest.
I'm anxious to see what gamespot will give this game. I still trust their opinions even though they've been 'X'ed by every Sony gamer.
I agree with Fishy Fingers. The sony gamers are in for a real treat with this title. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.
Isn't renting a game and judging for ourselves what we should've been doing in the first place? Some reviewers like it, some don't. Perhaps I'll be one of the people that does like it.
It wouldn't be a Crysis thread unless a console boy pointed out the over-exaggerated price of a pc just to make him feel better about the short-comings of his console. Do some research and stop being ignorant.
Im excited about GoW2 also. My favorite game of all time is Half Life 2, so you'd think I'd be excited about Left for Dead but it doesnt look all that interesting to me. All of the Splinter Cell games have been great games, don't just hop on the hating band-wagon cause it's the trendy thing to do.
I guess we'll have to stop making fun of halo 3 being 640p.
I played Crysis on high settings for a while. It looked good. When I turned to Ultra High settings it looked jaw-dropping. The console gamers shouldn't be too excited about the high settings, you gotta want the ultra high settings.
Your comments are just wishful console gamer thinking. It will be the same old story as every PC version of past games, all the reviewers will tell us that the PC version has slightly better graphics than the console version. They always have, and if history repeats itself then they will this time around too. You might as well accept it and get used to it.
I must say, it sounds like you're a pretty shallow gamer. All the games you mentioned are great games, even if they are rehashed PS2 titles. So I suppose you're still right though, if you strip any platform of its great games then there will be a slim lineup.
Kids/Old people group? what an over-generalized statement.
For all the bad games that nintendo made, there are a lot of gems too. afterall, Mario Galaxy got GOTY for 2007. It's good to see that nintendo is #1 again among the consoles.
Crysis went platinum according to EA meaning it sold a million copies. I guess PC gaming is more affordable than you think.
For every PC gaming thread there is always one "PC gaming is dying" console boy to give his opinion, completely ignoring the fact that Crysis went platinum, Orange Box sold more on PC than consoles, and 8800gt sales are thru the roof. Dont get me wrong, I love the consoles too, but just cause you feel a certain way doesn't mean that its fact and deffinitely doesnt mean that everyone thinks the same way as you.
3 out of 4 of those games have the best version on PC. PC FTW!
I think both The Executive and Burekman have good points. The game developers should show some loyalty towards platforms that made them famous, but money talks. If companies did show loyalty to platforms then a bunch of titles would still be exclusively PC.
Are you a Sony fan? Seems like it because sony fans will say anything to belittle the 360's great titles. It's annoying. I sold my 360 to get an 8800gt graphics card for my PC, I was a little upset that I would miss out on some good titles. So needless to say, Im happy this is coming out on PC. Im hoping to play the Force unleashed and Fable 2 on PC as well, just waiting for those anouncements. When it comes down to it, this site has turned into a "look how awesome the PS3 is and how muc...
As a PC gamer, I don't see what is wrong with an install time. It's probably just a minor problem that the competition is blowing out of proportion just to be able to have an advantage. Every game I play has an initial install time, no problem. When I installed World of Warcraft last november it took 2 hours to install, so what?
Crysis played so smoothly for me after patch 1.1. I guess the unlucky ones have a louder voice on the internet.
We know about these problems, I wanna hear what the action is like. Since I'm a martial arts geek (I do Brazilian jiu jitsu and muay thai) I'll be picking this game up just for the martial arts action.
