I was thinking the same thing... I like what he's talking about, except for the whole "open another account if your character gets bit" thing...
I generally don't have too many problems with my local Gamestop (besides that one gigantic Gears of War shipping delay), but this is ridiculous.
As the poster suggested, Gamestop has definitely crossed the line.
Bungie really knows how to release JUST ENOUGH info to get people salivating... they're the masters of that. I'm not complaining. :)
Very cool, I'm looking forward to causing some mayhem next week :)
As if the monster track list wasn't awesome enough... I love it. And to address the notion of "adding to the expense" - Whatever. I'll gladly pay $1 per song (or whatever) to add some slick new jams to my collection.
Red Octane not only has to pay the people who develop the game (and the extra content), but also for licenses to use the songs. If you don't want to pay for them, DON'T BUY THEM. The game comes with a HUGE track-list to begin with anyway.
Good and bad news I guess... Great news that they're going wireless, bad news that I'm having a hard enough time waiting for the release - I can't keep waiting for the wireless guitar.
Plan: Get it on release, buy the wireless guitar when that comes out and when I play 2-player, make my guest use the wired guitar :P
I've gotta say that I'm still a fan of the originals, but they did a nice job with these - they look really cool.
Not sure if I'm too thrilled about Bumblebee being a blatant Chevy advertisement, but the overall design of both models looks great.
Cool... I really like what they are doing with this game. It is going to be a refreshing addition to the multiplayer-FPS arena.
Amazing - just incredible. I hope we start seeing these technologies incorporated into all games.
That's hilarious. Not a bad way to "strike back" at your fears :)
Very nice... no idea what this game is about, but after Geometry Wars, I'm eagerly anticipating any XBLA releases from Bizarre.
Plus I loved the way the explosions looked in GeoWars, and judging by the screenshots, they've completely expounded on that here. Sweet!
Can't they like delete the web browser or something? I don't have a Wii (yet) but I'm sure Nintendo put SOME form of parental controls on the system...
Come on parents - stop blaming everyone else and step up to the plate for a change.
I wonder what the "surprise" will be... I'll be happy with even a few new maps.
Hahaha I'd love to hear the stats about men who play video games - I'm guessing those numbers would look a bit different ;)
Hahaha, amazing. I can hear the politicians' brains exploding already...
Awesome... I am such a big fan of this game! When that came out is was one of my absolute favorites. I think I just loved throwing papers through the peoples' windows :)
Pretty amazing stuff... wild to think about computers that "literally stop working if you look at them." Science is nuts. :)
Totally agree with you. It definitely sounds very cool. The graphics didn't look incredibly amazing, but I think its pretty early on to tell. I'll keep an eye on this one.
Hahaha, the best part is that pretty much every weapon had a "Using this can be considered noobish" disclaimer.
Some smart rules (and guidelines) that make a lot of sense. Hopefully the devs will stick to the guidelines.
