What is the big deal, devs? Lets get real - PDZ? Come on, you guys can come up with a way to to it if PDZ could!
I'm looking forward to this one... nothing too groundbreaking, but some solid fun action.
Talk about a horrible title... horribly misleading!
What a cool, fun little game. I was not that interested in it, but after playing the demo I'm pumped for it to come out.
Great stuff. :)
Okay, great - so reading the review, he points out how the game is innovative, fun, and a great time. The new mechanics are really cool, etc., etc.
Yet he scores it a 6 because of the price? I dunno... seems a bit harsh to me. I do agree that this game is slim on the features and should cost less, but to give a ridiculously fun, fresh game like Shadowrun a 6 because of the price seems a bit ridiculous.
Worked like a charm. Much thanks! :)
The end of the video "Why can't I be just like one of these guys?" is pure gold.
Very funny. :)
Thank you! I can't believe how many of the above commentors didn't realize that this was a joke. And a damn funny one, no less. :)
That's exactly what they'll do... that makes great business sense. I'm sure MS has decided that would be a good move to make.
You should start a business too - I bet you'd do really well with that.
Definitely disappointing... I guess we can just hope that the code comes within the next few days.
I mean, I'm a 360 guy myself, but seriously? That comment is blatantly false.
Everybody's always itchin' to start a console war around here...
EDIT: By the way - I agree - this game used to look a whole lot better. Wonder what happened.
It's really not that bad. 4 brand new maps (which will be free eventually) for $10... seems reasonable to me.
There are other prices on XBLM that are definitely ridiculous *cough*Guitar Hero II songs*cough*, but this seems somewhat fair.
Same here - just a 404 error for me. Did they pull the article or is it just a bad link?
The game that came out for Xbox was "Deus Ex: Invisible War"... This was the sequel to the original "Deus Ex" for PC. 2 very different games.
Honestly, I've only played Invisible War on the Xbox myself (my PC hasn't been good enough for gaming in YEARS), but from what I've read about it, the first Deus Ex was completely amazing and the 2nd one that was ported to Xbox wasn't quite as good (I loved it anyway).
I completely agree - looks very cool. As to what they're using, I'm pretty sure that I read it was Unreal 3 Engine - but I'm not 100% positive on that.
Very ambitious for an XBLA title - I'm looking forward to watching this develop!
Wow, this actually looks kinda cool. I'm getting mighty sick of the sandbox GTA-clones, but this looks like it has a really good twist to it.
Dude, come on... he's an editor at TeamXBOX.com. I'm pretty sure he owns an Xbox.
Let me say that I'm a HUGE fan of XBL, but he makes some VERY valid points and solutions. I have never complained about the price, and I still won't... but some of the proposals he has (dedicated servers, etc.) are great features that would make the value of XBL a no-brainer.
Hmmm... this doesn't really look very good. But I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, because I'm rarely disappointed by Ubisoft.
Well I'll be the first to "scream" I guess...
I realize that OXM demos tend to come out before we get them on XBL for free, but this does set a dangerous precedent.
If devs see that people are paying for this to get the demos, there is a likely chance that they will start charging for their demos too (non-OXM demos).
Just a bit worried - not screaming - yet! ;)
