Maybe he's the kind of person who owns a PS3, and not a PC, eh? That might explain his platform of choice. Exactly why does it require you to start hurling petty, baseless insults his way? Grow up.
Ah the multiplayer - the only real marked difference (gameplay wise) between the PC and console versions.
What a pathetic article. It beggars belief how many people are incapable of comprehending the fact that other people may not always think the same as you do. Exactly what scientific method have you applied to Duke Nukem Forever to come to the conclusion that it should score between 65 - 70%? And then to label a list of established games writers as 'crap' simply because they have an opinion that differs from yours is puerile beyond belief. Grow up - it's people like you, Toasty, th...
Holy crap. Those can't be real.
Nah, already got that trophy mate. Funnily enough I get it every time I submit an opinion on this site.
A fair point!
Gop IS talking about something other than graphics. He talked up his RED engine as being the best engine for making 'non-linear, mature RPGs.' He's talking story, combat and player choice as well.
Bubbles for coming back at me with a decent argument, without resorting to petty insults like the rest of the people on here.
I thought the Resistance 3 demo was really toothless though. Here's Insomniac's chance to show their game off to the gaming world, and it was the same thing we've seen countless times before. I just reckon that with Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 coming out round about the same time, Sony are throwing as much help Resistance 3's way...
It's an opinion. If you don't agree with me then good for you, but tell me why instead of just insulting my article.
TNT Racers for me.
Grow up.
I did. And thank you for your thoughtful input.
This video was shown at an event in London, but we *think* it's going to be the big 12-minute reveal on April 17th that DICE mentioned at the end of their last Fault Line trailer. So in other words, you've not missed it yet!
This scene was amazing and very moving. But then all of Yakuza 4's cut scenes are awesome - some of the best I've seen in any game.
Good for you, Mr. 'I hate mainstream gaming.' You must be the first videogame bohemian. Did you like poop throwing before it was cool? I hope when DNF comes out and you're hurling turds through football posts, you can spare a thought for us lesser mortals enjoying our lesser mainstream games like Crysis 2 and LA Noire.
''So a game sucks cuz you can throw a turd?'' We don't know if the game sucks, we haven't played it. If you read the articl...
Deliciously crafted? I give up. If you reckon throwing crap at walls is what constitutes fun in games then that's very sad indeed.
Not if the game doesn't count stealth as a recognised combat style (like melee, ranged or magic), which is what we were asking.
Nice work, had me fooled (and excited) right up until I saw the Platinum description :(
As a massive Final Fantasy fan, I would normally agree with you. The cut scenes and story in DISSIDIA however just aren't very good.
So as far as you're concerned, if you only own a home console you shouldn't bother playing Battlefield 3?
