Great.
Hope the games show different ways to utilize the tech. Time for MS to show -why- this is the next big thing within gaming. Not just spin PR crap.
"You would make a ship sail against the winds and currents by lighting a bonfire under her deck...I have no time for such nonsense.
— Napoleon, commenting on Fulton's Steamship."
There are ways to do things differently, it's called ingenuity.
Alan Wake is linear...
Yea' I love how Lionhead and Turn 10 are really humble about their games... oh wait
Sir Daniel Fortesque back from the dead again?... again? ^^
Another player in the game-business would be bad enough, but apple with their "we hate open-ness". It would be hell for 3rd parties to make something that would work with everything.
Add more crap to a melody that's already crowded.. Not my idea of making it better.
If there's one thing Ms is good at it's hyping. Some here act as if Natal has been a best seller since the day it was announced at E3.
It sounds like they've changed design direction many times these last years. Makes me wonder if they can put out something that is coherent, or if it will feel like a game with too many halfdone ideas.
Can't wait to see the result, I do hope that it will be a great game. Been waiting for it for 4 years.
There are multiple issues with ME2 imo. But that doesn't take away from it being a solid game. Is it the be all, end all of rpgs? No. Does it have to be to be a great game? No.
There's an "readers submit" questionere at dagbladet.no

Mostly old stuff, but there is one answer I found particularly interesting:
"Motion Technology?
First off all thank you for the great game you have created, but I am wondering if you are you going to use motion technology in...
But in my opinion ME2 is the first and a solid step towards western jrpg. wrpg are always hailed for their openess, but me has been extremly confined at least for the 12hours I've played so far.
This could be since it's a second game in a series. But I got the feeling that the start is set in stone and (I can't say a 100% on this) the end is set in stone. 50% of those in the universe know who you are. And everyone has an expectation for how you will behave.
For...
The IGN previews (they had multiple) were overall positive and gave hints of a deep good combat system, yet in the review (written by the same man) it's knocked down.
And wasn't the J-version accepted as a good(avg. 70-80) game. there were tons of import reviews I remember.
-->"would"<-- as in "never actually tried".
The unknown is always more alluring than the known.
Of course 50% would be interested when asked in a poll. It's a bit strange it's not higher. But how often does such numbers = sales?
Dunno 'bout idiots. But the choices are A) do not have the game, B) is the biggest tease on youtube or C) it's a viral marekting ploy.
If it's C) then it's marketing gone wrong. This only pisses people off. For me the first option is by far the most likely.
Yup, it's either a leak or fake imo. Wouldn't be too hard to make that in xna would it?
something from Sid Meier or Will Wright imho. Probably civ4 ^^
I personally need to see something that's worth my time before giving this a chance. I thought they would've have something new to show at this point.
Oh well, hopefully we'll see something at E3 :)
The sad thing is that Zelda, more than other nintendo franchises, is caught in a catch 22. Fans want the same Zelda, but if they get it they moan about it being the same.
Hopefully they'll find a solution to this.
