I couldn't get past 6 hours, and I'm a bit mad about their misleading demo that showed only the good parts of the game.

This site is a cesspool. The game is an absolute bore of endless cutscenes and the demo was an obvious lie that was only showing the perfect bits, like lip synching. Once you get in there, it's complete garbage and the combat is really boring... But you can't anything bad about the game of course. People up there talking about performance not being an issue, while every Starfield article gets crapped on for being 30fps.

I have to admit, the demo made me change my mind. I found the trailers underwhelming, and I was not at all excited for this game. It seemed the characters didn't look very good, the voice sync was crap and the combat was a mess. I also was concerned about the story, especially the medieval setting.
After playing the demo, I'm way more likely to now get the game. It does look great. I think the trailers didn't do it justice, good for them for releasing that demo.
Yup, as a big fan of the original, the remake made me sad, it was absolute garbage and I couldn't finish it, a bit like Oddworld new and tasty that a lot of people hated, yet they doubled down with the sequel and got slapped as a result.
Just very weird that we heard nothing about this sequel, but I agree that it doesn't make me very optimistic. I guess we'll see!
