Definitely going to be sad being the last Uncharted when we finally got a real awesome more open world version of the original design.
I'm hoping uncharted carries on in some form. Even if Naughty Dog have to come back to it in 3 year or so. Would love Elena to take over the mantel.
Would be interesting as it would go head to head, quite literally, with the tomb raider franchise xD
Sony have both the sales war and games war on lock since launch.
Really sorry you're this naive.
MS: Similar architecture ---> similar architecture
Sony: CELL --> x86
Think back to last gen about the immediate short comings of the PS3 and the problems it faced with game development.
And hell, Sony have the best engineers in the world, the managed to conceive a games console that beat Microsoft's best engineers in the world, at a local level with no need for the cloud.
heh
Yoshida might not, but tech experts at Sony may do. Yoshida manages the world wide studios.
The last paragraph pretty much sums it up, looks like he's referring the roll out and how the majority of the consumers will experience the final product when it comes out as it will vary from customer to customer in contrast to showing off a vertical slice in ideal conditions.
Could Sony attempt at doing this? Definitely. Was it within their game plan, strategy wh...
When traditional single player disappears that's when I think I'll be giving up gaming.
Single player has been bread and butter standard since gaming's inception.
Correct games do crown the winner, sales is the icing on the cake.
Let's look:
As of June 2015:
Exclusive = 53
Sony Exclusive = 72
Console exclusive and/or timed = 122/14
Multiplatform/or TBA = 354/0
Free to Play = 44
Playable = 337 available to purchase
Total = 614
Xbone:
Exclusive = 38
Microsoft exclusive = 19
Console exclusive or timed = 5...

How about don't twist my words? There's many examples of games being rushed out for the hope of profit out the gate and worrying about the issues later. Driveclub, MCC, Assassin's creed.
There's always justification for efficient development teams, but if they need longer, give them longer, the product will be better off for it. I don't see how anyone can see different.
As for your second quote reference, I'...
I'm definitely right there with you. If not then probably PGS. I should think they won't wait until PSX and TGS is for Japanese based games.
Makes comment addressing fanboy crap with a fanboy comment lol
@ray_moondo
Learn-to-context, in reference to your Chinese/japanese distaste comment.
We're talking about consumer electronics here.
@Death
And MS fans don't dismiss the Sony games? That's very very very rich.
If MS fans can forgive MS for not supplying great exclusives at the start of the year and having nothing of 'note' through out summer until autumn then Sony fans can forgive Sony for not having anything for the seasonal months. Pretty simple I feel!
Plus if there's any games you'd like to bring up I'll happily use some MS Fan logic and di...
For that last paragraph, and considering the increased climate of broken-on-release games, the question is do you want bad and broken games now, or decent and working games eventually?
We're the ones paying for the stuff remember.
Plenty of games until now to 2016 for PS4 owners to play.
Pretty much.
A legendary(check his previous positions) old school game dev designing a games console FOR developers, to be used BY gamers. All the ingredients were relevant and present. It seems to be paying back in spades and the odd dump truck.
It was a sure thing the moment it wasn't a PS3 2.0
All MS have left is quite literally NA. That's it, fact.
They lost out on Japan, Europe in its entirety and lately even China which Xbox fanboys were hyping up for some weird reason, even going so far to say that PlayStation wouldn't sell because the Chinese hate the Japanese which is quite literally fanboy BS LOL.
MS wished they had that year head start the 360 had last gen, they would turn back time for sure.
lmfao, what evidence is this I wonder? More than likely a lot of tiny little things you might blow up to suit a narrative mebbi.
Same can be said about Microsoft's studios, or perhaps lack of? Pretty much why they have to pay out to have third party devs make their games for them. The evidence so far shows that! On top of that the other main studios are one IP dev factories and known quantities which results in = yawn. Would rather the mystery of what ever Sony's stud...
You're in a predominantly Sony related article and your comment is Xbox related pretty much. Therefore it's off topic.
Also people are allowed to not like comments and not be fanboys you know. Please get a clue.
Knowing that it's coming is enough for me, even if it's a year.
There's a difference in buying a game and buying a system as well as the game just to play it. If it's coming eventually to a place where the majority of my games are then I can wait.
Plenty of games between now and then to keep occupied. Plus it will probably be the superior version too no doubt.
