What an amazing send off for ps3 if this is indeed the last big game before we move on to ps4. Wow talk about going out with a bang. Can't wait to see what Sony has in store for ps4. Starting to get really excited now.

Kotaku deems "I ❤ ps" trolling of the sweetest way? Really???? Are they all 5 yrs old at kotaku? I was expecting something big from the title. I think kotaku are the ones trolling by reporting on something so trivial and trying to start a fanboy war.
Thank god. Now maybe the great japanese devs will stop trying to emulate it so much and go back to what made their games so great during the ps1 and ps2 days. Now hopefully resident evil will start returning to its roots as well as final fantasy and other once great franchises that have been tainted by the cod germ.
pcs may be more powerful but consoles are where most of the worlds most famous and memorable games are made. what does pc have? crysis? doom? warcraft? ill take zelda, mario, uncharted, halo, smash bros., sonic, and everything else that pc doesn't offer.
sony should get out of the handheld market and focus their strength on their consoles. nintendo owns that market and always have. they could save that money and invest it towards making ps4 a big success. thats my thoughts anyway.
I doubt sony will ever drop the ps name from its gaming division. its simply too iconic. While I do believe they will stop using numbers eventually, I think we will see ps4 as ps4 and nothing else. I just hope we finally get some official details of it next E3. I'm getting impatient for new consoles.

Just a little info. My iPhone target app has listed the wiiU in my local store as being in stock. It also shows me like 8 diff stores all in varying distances from my own local store. I looked at them on Monday and all of them had a status of "in stock". I checked them again today and they all said "out of stock". Meanwhile searching ps3 and Xbox 360 finds plenty in stock. Looks like that "kiddie" system ppl keep dissing is kicking ass. Glad I got mine.
Fuck lightning and fuck S-E. Mow that we've got namco starting to give us tales RPGs lately and the ps3 exclusive ni no kuni, we finally have something to be happy about. Square has just lost all worth to me as a game company. My fondest memories of them was during the ps1. And I still have most of my ps1 RPGs from square-soft. But part of me wishes like anything that those glory days would return. Some of the best games ever made.
It's actually the industry that needs new consoles. Sales are way down from years prior. We need new consoles and new ways of gameplay to help sustain interest. Plus the devs really need it since alot of their games are not selling the numbers they need. Ppl are getting bored of the same graphics and games being released every year. Honestly, how many more cods, assassins creeds, and just dances do we need? We need something new. It's time to move on.
Kotaku are just a bunch of immature fanboys. No different from the ones who comment on this site everyday. Just ignore them and enjoy the games and consoles. That's what they're for.

I'm a former devout ps3 user who made the switch to wiiU. As well I'm also starting to see while not a lot, but still a rather increasing number of ppl on miiverse who are saying how they've played cod for years on ps3 and or 360 and have now switched to the wiiU gamepad for their cod fix. So while its not very big at the moment, I suspect as time goes on, miiverse will be a very good way of users word of mouth getting more and more ppl on it. I still love my ps3, but I'm find...
i agree. hd graphics, a free robust online facebook-like network, new controller, strong 3rd party support right at launch, future blockbuster games, both 1st and 3rd party, cheaper dev costs since it will be outdated compared to ps4 and 720. That will, combined with a strong install base, theoryetically give nintendo a huge advantage over sony and microsoft. and by this time next year when ps4 and 720 do launch, nintendo can easily drop the price by $50 and secure their lead.
It's only been out a little over a week or two. These are small problems at best. Lets look at the positives the wiiU brings. Sleek and sexy? Check. Free access to online gaming, eshop, video chat, netflix, Hulu plus, amazon instant video apps? Check. Backwards compatibility with wii games and accessories? Check. More core, 3rd party games and support that everyone condemned the original wii for not having? Check. Awesome new controller that Sony and Microsoft will copy in 1 to 2 years? C...
exactly. i was about to say the same thing. a week is generally "7" days. it should sell close to a milion for its first week in japan given that monster hunter 3 was a launch game. plus mario and the included DQX beta.
