Totally agree with the 'enhanced gameplay mechanics'. It would have been really cool to have stuff like that happen. It would have made you feel more into the game.
I do have to disagree with the voice acting, BUT agree with a better script. I feel like the voice acting was spot on (gritty, war-hardened) but they were just given a crappy script to go off of. If it had a better story, I don't think it would have been an issue.

I would add Demon's Souls to that list. Been playing for four days and have 30 hours racked up. I anticipate playing this quite a few times.
Also, if you clear enemies out of an area, they won't come back. So you can just sit in an area until you are ready to go on.

Totally agree with you. To be honest, I used to be one of those people :) I used to bash it just because of its name. Well I've played it now and its not a bad game. Its just not my cup of tea. For people that are Halo fans, ODST would be hard not to recommend. Unless of course you already purchased every piece of DLC for Halo 3. But people can make that decision for themselves.

inFamous can NOT be easily replaced by Prototype. I have my doubts you played both as it doesn't sound like you own a PS3. inFamous has a level of polish that simply can't be matched by Prototype.

Trust me, there will be A LOT of people that buy MAG. Even in its beta stage, it is well worth a $60 price tag. People who haven't played it will hate on it, but it is a great game. As for Heavy Rain, its going to be an amazing game, but I feel like Sony won't market it like they should. There will be plenty people that buy it. I know I will love it. And ModNationRacers is going to be great. It won't do Halo sales, but I think it will be a pretty good title.

I guess I will have to pick this up. I've had a dry spell of gaming and from the sound of some of these comments, this is just the game to get me out of a rut.
Freaking loved the campaign in Call of Duty 4. I've played it a good 4 or 5 times. Most recently had a go on 360 to get all my achievements for it. This game looks just as fantastic. Can't wait to get it. Will most likely wait to get it preowned. Not in the mood to support Activision.
