Peter Molyneux is right...it takes time for a new high tech device to become integrated into a current platform. Guerrilla games took 6 years to come to grips with the cell processor and the game STILL had a host of technical issues with the controls, loading..etc.
Listen, you like Infamous...that's fine...BUT there is nothing going on in that game that couldn't be done on the 360 AND isn't being done as we speak...better. I don't think Mass Effect will look anywhere near as good as the 360 version. I've had this discussion before, Mass Effect runs on a highly developed 360 engine and I suspect the PS3 version will run 540-640p with alot of strange lighting and nowhere near as detailed. Nobody needs to freak out, but Bioware and EA are just giving everyone the heads up so when it releases in a couple of months people don't have high expectations and are disappointed.

The TGS was all about the incredible line up Kinect has coming out in the next 2-8 months...lol Sony launched the Move and nobody noticed and even when they did, they couldn't help but compare the resemblance of the Move to the Wii both in looks and game play. Trying to visualize Kinect with games designed for a controller doesn't make much sense does it...lol. What EA's European VP is saying that you have to think outside the " box " to really start to grasp what Kinect is capable of....the tech/software is solid and improving everyday...

I use the D pad for flashlights and weapon changing...lol. If you want a controller for fighting games their are specific joystick type controllers for that. The different colored buttons might look ok but for reasons outlined in the article, are dumb.
In regards to price...it's ridiculous...why can't new and improve include a price drop as well???...O_o
I thought there wasn't going to be a new console for ten years or more...lol. Nintendo may never recover from this blunder. No comparison really, M$ strategy is solid. The launch line up is well thought out and has a purpose and a goal. Sony's by comparison is a fire sale of ideas with no rhythm of rhyme...just a " me too " addition to there console. The Wii was and is still a great entry level system but those gamers are 4 years older now and want to play games with the big boys like MW2...Wii is done.
The pre-rendered " simulations " as ND likes to call them are definitely over done. Uncharted 1 had 80 pre-rendered simulations and Uncharted 2 had 564...the definition of overdone. If Naughty Dog wants to make a pre-rendered movie...they should. If they want to make a video they should try to make game play and not pre-rendered sims every other minute. Every time Indiana Drake opened a door, jumped off a ledge or on a ledge...there was a cut scene.
