You know your show and brand is in trouble when the crowd's biggest moment was BC for Xbox games..
Finally, Crackdown!
Very true, but Codevein looked nice, bummer, hope there is more.
The games are surprisingly underwhelming, the "exclusive" voice is starting to become a cringeworthy warning of what is next.
Even at their worst they still ended up at more overall sales (PS3 > Xbox360) last gen, the userbase is just really strong, and now that their marketing game is up, hard to beat them..
It's selling well because it's a gimmick, same as Wii, Ninty tapped into the casuals and kids once more, now either the console will slow down drastically and people will shelve them in top closets like with the Wii, or not slow down and continue good sales and people will still shelve it to collect dust, like the Wii. Ninty's next console will have to be another great gimmick otherwise it will flop like the WiiU, no consistency.
Mario Kart has nothing to do with games like Need for Speed or GT, it is in its cartoony racing subgenre, it is an amazing game no doubt, but not much to improve on or do for the little kart game now is there?
It's funny because Nintendo really doesn't have any new great ideas, it's showed terribly with the WiiU and now it will show with the Switch, it will most likely be their last console, they should go the way of Sega and release one great cartoony game in three years like this. After Zelda and Mario, what else is there?
Don't like this system at all, Nintendo had a fad with the Wii but the failure of the WiiU shows they only sold to casual gamers, which aren't faithful consumers. You really think these people will drop their phones for an underwhelming small screened console at their hands? because of Zelda? Or another Mario? It's not doom and gloom, it's fact, Nintendo has been out of ideas for a while, it's Sony and MS constantly hitting benchmarks and selling their consoles at a fast r...
WiiU failed, Super Mario Run fails, and Switch will fail. The Wii was luck, a fad, that's why the WiiU failed and Nintendo was forced to abandon the name, I said it all along, even when the odd console launched. I hope Nintendo soon returns to their roots instead of continuing to make a quick dime off casual gamers, if this continues, they might as well scale down, just like their share price is doing.
Modern feminism is a joke.
No wonder their stock hasn't picked up. Same goes for Switch, terrible idea to think people will drop their cell phones to play with a tablet as they're catching a train(or getting hit by one), Nintendo has one great idea and just can't continue on from there. Back when the Wii released I said it would sell like crazy but the audience would abandon it, and look at the WiiU and the failure it was. You can't remain consistent selling to casuals Nintendo, at least certainly won...
$10 is a weak price to attract customers, just as the Wii brand was weak, as it led to the failure of WiiU, much like their stock is a failure. Not even a widely popular fad of a Pokemon Game and this Mario game for the mobile masses can get them into a first place position. Nintendo just doesn't know how to do consistent business above the other big two.
uncharted 4
Of course that's not their value, stocks are just illusions, just look at Netflix and how people keep arguing what its real value is. But I would still think that the increase and higher stock price means more confidence in the company doing good? Nobody would invest in a down spiraling company.
@starlancer, oh but playing last gen games on your new system is a megaton? LOL
Games and more games, Sony is killing it right now!
Yet a feature that is usually involved at a console's launch, being able to play last gen games that you probably won't have time for with so many current gen titles is a megaton?? Timed exclusivity mods is a megaton?
Judging by the disagrees some people are really hurt lol
Careful, I remember seeing demos of Destiny and expecting one of the best games ever, and it was a letdown. I hope it performs just as amazing when it comes out as seen in the demo, hopefully everything we saw in the demo is a common part of the game and not some setup to excite gamers.
