There is actually a Home console they just never mentioned it as far as i'm aware! All they talked about was the controller and everyone (including myself) thought that was the full console!
I just want a normal controller, a nice tv and a variety of quality games please!!!!!!!!

For me the TV they introduced was amazing! I mean 3D on a 24 inch and split screen without actually splitting the screen in half and for so cheap... How are more people not talking about this?
you have to admit though it is getting stale, same engine, i'm assuming the same terrible campaign and the same multiplayer which has the same bugs and problems every single year!
Yes the multiplayer is still a good laugh with a bunch of friends but I can get the same experience (hell could even be better) on any of the previous Call of Dutys!
Silly move for anyone who does sell there Ps3 to be honest, with all of the amazing games coming out for the system anybody who sold it will more than likely buy it back again! Extra sales for Sony... Hairy muff!

I am a big Sony fan but even I enjoy Nintendo goodness from time to time! Can wait until the e-shop or whatever it is called opens for the 3DS, some serious retro gaming is going to go down!
I paid money to buy a PS3 and I spend money on games for that console!
I really can't believe they are actually bitching about a company making money and providing us with entertainment, if they don't like it then don't support them or buy their products!
If you want free games then play flash games or better yet learn how to program games and spend hours of your life working hard to create something you love and then give it out for free for us...

Considering they published they were going to do this all over the internet I doubt that excuse will work.
I don't understand why the media is trying to turn people against the 3DS by twisting everything.
It seems like they always want to bring down the big guns e.g. the PS2 was massive so they get there fire and pitchforks out for the PS3 and now the same seems to be happening with the 3DS after the success of the DS.

Although somewhere between PS1 and PS2 the Gameboy and Pokemon took over my childhood haha!
The NGP looks awesome but those features you mentioned have little to no effect on my decision to buy it! I personally would rather use my computer or smartphone for all of that. I buy a gaming system for the games, I know i will buy the NGP but it's because I'm sure it will have the amazing games.
Bought the 3DS on launch day along with Rayman3D and it's pretty sweet I really think it's a quality handheld, can't wait for more games to come out.
I didn't have a normal DS (I know that's unbelievable) but I decided to go for it and buy the 3DS. The 3D effect works well in that it shows depth but I agree that nintendo are using it as it's main marketing ploy and might I add false advertisement regarding the 3D effect as I'm sure sure you are all aware of, it doesn't pop put.
However 3D effect or not the DS still has a ton of awesome games that I (someone who didn't have a DS) am looking forward t...

Intelligence was probably the wrong word to a certain extent. However look at game like Demon's Souls, Disgaea and White Knight Chronicles, games which need a certain amount of tactics, managing and to a degree intelligence to do well in the game. These games also take a lot of time and effort to complete and I don't blame people for not enjoying games such as these, not everybody has the time or patience for them.

Sorry Arnon but there is not one new IP among that line-up, nintendo do just rehash the majority of their first party dev games and it's getting boring now!
