My regular PS4 gets super loud from day 1. It's by far the loudest device I have, even louder than my gaming PC.

This gen, five my friends switched from 360 to PS4 because of MS's anti-consumer business practices, the rest when PC gaming. We can all just as easily switch back to the console that supports bringing all gamers together next gen and doesn't provide BS excuses.
Cross-play keeps online communities alive for much longer and allows people to play with their PC friends. I hope it's a big selling point next gen. They're are so many games I would have bought day...

No, very much the opposite. The higher the resolution or GPU load the less of a chance for a CPU bottleneck.
If a CPU at best could do 100FPS with unlimited GPU power in a game, then a GPU that can only produce 60FPS max wouldn't be utilizing the CPU fully. That why CPU requirements at 4K aren't as big of a deal currently as most GPUs can barely get 60 FPS.
A person with a 1080ti that's used to 1440p at 100+ FPS or even 4k/60 might have a hard time going back to 1080/60FPS.
I couldn't imagine going back to 720p no matter what the graphical effects,
I hope they've optimized everything else first for the 90% of people that won't have and RTX card.
There's a reason why marketing budgets are so large, a game without good word of of mouth and high awareness may not sell well, despite being good.
Most TV shows/movie actors, and singers are pretty hot with great bodies. Why can't games be the same.

Probably millions of people that want to play all the games with good enough graphics and performance for $400 (especially if 60FPS becomes standard), instead of spending $1000-2000 on a PC. Pretty sure MS is going to ensure the next Xbox is the more powerful console this time but it mostly depends on what platform your friends are getting so you can all play MP together.

The Tomb Raider origin games have been awesome and are some of the best third person action/story games available.
Think what you want from the devs comment regarding TLOU2; it's in very poor taste to criticize a competitor in a such a manner. But the past two Tomb Raider games have been pretty amazing. I'm very happy the series was resurrected and the origin angle was part of that.
Cross-play could be a deciding factor when it's time to buy new consoles next gen. My friends are pretty split up between console and PC users. All the console guys had 360 last gen then switched to PS4 this gen (better price/power), they'd just as easily switch back if we can all play together.
