More like Pinocchio Souls
We already thought the original Dead Space was perfect and the remake made it even better. If Motive commands the ship, I have confidence they can improve DS2 as well.
This is by far an extensive dive into the PC versions performance. Their only data source is some frame rate tool from nVidia. Most early reviewers that have been playing it on PC have said that it runs great and the gameplay looks smooth. I'll wait to see what Digital Foundry says as they are the only ones that I truly trust when it comes to this subject.
:edit: - Also, this is the only article that I can find that makes these claims. Which further makes me think ...
SF6 is going to be big for fighting games. I'm excited to get my hands on it. Wish I could've got into one of the betas.
1. Armored Core 6
2. Street Fighter 6
3. Dead Space
4. Final Fantasy XVI
5. Resident Evil 4
6. Lies of P
Games were always 60fps back in the days of NES. It wasn't until the PS2/XBox era when devs started trying to push their hardware to keep up with PC gaming that 30fps started becoming acceptable. Now we have high refresh rate monitors and TVs with super fast pixel response and when playing anything below 60fps, it becomes a juddery mess that will give you a headache. It's 2023, anything less than 60fps should be unacceptable. 120fps should be the norm by now ffs...
They have Redout 2 on here because it was too hard. Git gud. That game is so fun!
The originals ones on PS1 are cool, but I can't really speak on whether they've aged well. I remember them being a bit slower and clunky. Tank controls iirc
The PS2 games, specifically AC3, were the golden era. They are hard to find nowadays outside of emulation. They hold up fairly well.
The PS3 games, most notably AC4 and 4A, have the closest esthetic to AC6. The energy barriers around the mechs (I kid you not, they are called Kojima partic...
It started with Miyazaki initially and is now being headed by the lead designer of Sekiro, Masaru Yamamura. I am hype incarnate. A world crafted by the father of Demon's Souls himself and being finalized by the guys that brought us the intense combat of Sekiro.
Better than Heat? Honest question, because I've almost picked up Heat several times but never pulled the trigger. It has to really be good for me to give my money to EA again.
Can't wait until it's not trendy to hate on this game anymore. Poor performance is one thing, but the level of detail in this game is insanely high. It tried something different with it's combat and I appreciate that. It's not perfect, as there is no such thing as perfect, but to say that Jacob is less interesting than a faceless protagonist with no backstory and no interesting progression is just a flat out bait.
Nope. I bought the PS5 FOR Demon's Souls remake, Forbidden West, and GoW:Ragnarok. If it's not Sony exclusive, I play on PC.
*shocked Pikachu face*
$59.99 still on PC
Slow news day?
As all versions of any game should be. Theoretically.
I expect to get downvotes, but you have to remember that every console you've ever played on is basically an outdated PC using special homebrew software in a neat little plastic box.
No 3000GT makes me sad.
The original Dead Space had weapon skins and different suits. I'm not sure how this is that much of a surprise, unfortunate as it is.
The day they stop supporting physical media is the day that I stop buying consoles entirely.
Uh. She IS in the game...
