Holy moly.....
But when the hardware manufacturer knows what bottlenecks cause games to not run 60fps (CPU), manufacturers can decide to put in a better CPU. To say manufacturers don't have a say is false.
Haha cue the old man rant going from blaming Sony fan boys to millennials. Stop it, it's pretty pathetic.
Good read but in terms of accuracy, the PS4 Pro GPU has 36 CU not 20. Please fix this misinformation.
This lol
Agreed, I think texture differences (12gb of ram vs 8) will be the most noticeable difference between the Pro and X versions of games.
Higher overall resolution is nice vs the Pro version but the higher resolution textures are where X should really shine.
yeah because they did the bare minimum for Destiny 2 on PC /s
fake news, PS4 Pro has a 4k mode in this game. HDR will be patched in probably when the X update comes out.
Irrelevant question for the gamer, we got great SP games that's all that matters.
Why does that matter to the consumer? The FACT is people with Sony and Nintendo consoles ARE getting those exclusive SP games and will continue to do so. Your pathetic defense of MS is just that, sad and pathetic.
Yeah that's where I stopped reading lol
Edit: Ok Nintendo fanboy, got it, now it makes sense.
If 3rd party games are so important to you and you want the best, get a PC. Otherwise your argument makes no sense. Spend $100 more for a system that plays the same 3rd party games better but has less exclusives to play?
No doubt the price point for the hardware is incredible but if it's just for better 3rd party games, not worth it.
I know 60 fps is where it's at game play wise by my God do some of these higher resolution modes look sharp. I'm jealous of the PC Master race that can have it all.
wtf??????
Tell me about all the adventures, lost sectors, heroic public events you played through in Destiny 1, oh wait...
This explanation took 1 sentence, instead we get an article...
Arent they working on the Avengers game?
@thekhurg
Right, it's like most people commenting and agreeing here didn't even read the article. Sounds about right for N4G.
nice commenting before actually reading the article. It was UK retail sales (one region and doesn't include digital). The original Destiny sold on 4 platforms (this one launched on 2) but yeah you keep thinking that it's failing.
TLDR: Xbox One X version hits native 4k most of the time as opposed to the Pro version which averages 1628-1728p. X version has the same high end features found in the Pro and PC versions. No high resolution textures. Performance is fantastic across the board.
