People said that about Quantum Break, Ryse: Son of Rome, State of Decay 1 & 2, and Crackdown 3. I'm not accusing you of being a hypocrite, though whenever a Microsoft exclusive is being panned from reviewers, people on this site seem to agree with them (even though they probably never played the game).

Great achievement, though it was expected. Don Mattrick almost ruined Microsoft's gaming department (luckily Phil Spencer and his team rectified the issues), and Nintendo doesn't have the same third party support that Microsoft and Sony benefited from. Sony profited from Microsoft's stumbles and Nintendo's lack of technological interest (hardware not to the scale of Msft and Sne).

Next generation will be the battle of exclusives. Microsoft we know will be pr...

I'm 100% sure Borderlands would sell on Switch. Skyrim, Doom, Wolfenstein, Diablo 3, Fifa, and NBA 2k have all done well enough to make a profit. Switch's demographic overlaps with Microsoft and Sony's, so third party games have done pretty well for themselves on Nintendo's current platform.

It's weird because Bulletstorm Remastered is launching on the Switch (a less popular IP).

The funny thing about this is, he'd rather leave the company and not put his software on a Nintendo platform (Switch) who don't usually censor (on rare occasions) publishers and developers.

What? I still own it and love.

Yep. People don't understand that casuals make up the majority of console sales. Soon mobile technology will reach a point where games look and play well enough for consumers not to care about dedicated gaming hardware platforms (unless their first party Ip's sells a lot of copies on a frequent basis, which is why exclusives are very important). Future smart tv's will have the technology to play AAA games like Fifa, Call of Duty, etc. In 1080p 60 fps. And they'll probably (fut...

There's a reason why people (like myself) believe the Stadia will impact Sony the most. Microsoft also has the pc market as leverage so they'll be more than ok (there was an article stating that over 800 million people use Windows an os platform).

Nintendo can carry their own gaming platforms by themselves with their own ip's. "Though the virtual Boy, GameCube, and Wii U were failures!" Yes they were, though the software sales for those systems are ama...

Is there "anything" Sony does wrong? At least Microsoft and Nintendo fans can admit to their platform's failings. Sony's like a golden goose that never lays bad eggs. Factually, Gamepass is the better service. It's cheaper and has newer games with first party day 1 releases.

Sony hysteria is rampant on this site.

For the time being, Microsoft's gamepass is the better service.

Yeah it's a shame, though it's a million seller worldwide so it is successful nonetheless.

Going back to that news article about how Google was entering the gaming market, I got downvoted because I stated, "Micosoft and Sony should be worried." This news just proves my point. Most of the time (except Wii U, and Virtual boy) Nintendo can support their own gaming platforms with their own software (1st/2nd party). Microsoft and Sony rely on 3rd party's t...

Microsoft and Sony must be worried. Google has the money to compete (buying studious and exclusives). Nintendo, not so much because they don't rely on third party's as much as the other two.

Gaming would be the same (for me at least), and I'd play a lot less (mainly on PC).

I think it honestly benefits both Nintendo and Microsoft. In Nintendo's case - it'll add to their lacking of AAA titles you normally wouldn't see published onto their platform. For Microsoft, they'll benefit heavily by being able to increase their awareness in the Japanese gaming market.

Not sure if Sony will be apart of this, though for their sake, they should be in talks with Microsoft also.

If consumers Don't buy Nintendo's games at the $60 price tag, then Nintendo will lower them. Metroid: Other M dropped price extremely early because of its critical reception, and consumers were unwilling to pay $60 for it.

The idea that a gaming company can profit off of a creative dance that is linked to a specific person, is wrong. Dances that resemble a likeness to a specific creator, should all be free. If consumers are paying for emotes that originated from tv series, or music videos, Epic should not be profiting from them.
