" I could play all 6 games without paying full price"
... without ever owning anything either

My oh my, how a simple video like this where for the first time ever MS can claim they have 6 games coming in a year (supposedly) for their console can cause all the most idiotic and radical fanboys to crawl out of the woodwork and say the most inept banter, including about games which are nowhere mentioned in the aforementioned video (that was Forza Horizon lads...

For some reason it tells me I can't download the free PS5 upgrade on the PC PS Store over here, though.

The one game that could make me want to buy an Xbox Series X! It was originally supposed to release on the Xbox One as well, but as I thought they've realized there was no way they could make it run on that hardware apparently.

I think it's because Sony have something cooking for the PS5 outside of E3, like end of june/early july if rumors are to be believed

Woooh, so many disagrees... say disagree critters, how's it spelled then?

The TMNT Turtles in Time one looks very good, as a kid I would've loved to have it in my home. As an adult who now knows about emulators, mame etc. of course I want something better than that, like a Megacade or something, decorated more to my liking, less specifically TMNT and more arcade games all around. Trouble is, the Megacade already costs a small fortune in itself, and I guess the shipping costs to Europe must be insane as well, for something that big and heavy... So I guess I'...

Great score, a bit less typical from what you'd expect from a game set in feudal Japan, but fits the atmosphere perfectly!

Sacrebleu, but I get ya ;-)

Since apparently, the DualSense is compatible with the PS3 (but not with the PS4 for some reason), and my DS3's battery died years ago, I might pick up the Cosmic Red one, it looks really good. But 75$ for a PS5 controller when I don't even have a PS5... ouch! lol

I for one don't find them obvious when I look at games like Marvel's Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Dreams, or Days Gone but dunno, maybe it's just me...

Hopefully it comes out for the PS4 too, and with some added content (if only new characters, new outfits, etc)

I agree it's a good thing, if only for the fact plenty of people like me won't be having a PS5 anytime soon, considering it's expensive, hard to find, and doesn't have the attractivity of the PS4 install base for publishers. The only people who demand only PS5/XBox Series X exclusives and right now are the people who caved in and bought those systems as soon as they released when there were no reasons to, because they're dumb consumers who always just need to have the late...

I hope the underwater environments are as vast as the ones on the surface. Last time I saw water in a GAME that gave me that many emotions was in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, with its waves crashing gently on the beach, so here's hoping they'll be no shortage of activities or loot to be had in the Big Blue in this game.

How can you have a list of only 20 games when it comes to the greatest titles on the PS1... I tried to limit my collections of NES, SNES, Genesis etc games for my emulators on PC to close to 100, but for the PS1 I simply couldn't and I'm currently sitting at close to 200.

"It's vital Sony maintains its PlayStation 4 support. The pandemic has changed things, and there's a new audience of PS4 customers in need of things to play"

100% agreed

At what price though?

Cross-gen titles for the PS4 & PS5 are not the problem, it makes sense from a business point of view for the time being, as there are close to 120 million PS4 owners, and the PS5 is so hard to get. Plus, PS5 owners will get their extra bells and whistles that PS4 owners won't get, and when it comes to Gran Turismo 7 it's just a racing title anyway, it could run on the PS1, albeit with a noticeably inferior presentation, so don't come and tell me it shouldn't be made to run...

"what goes around comes around"

LOL, live up to your moniker and speak the truth then: Microsoft had been doing that long before Sony started to, in order to pad their limited offer due to the lack of exclusive titles on XBox platforms. And it did not start with the gay tony dlc for GTA IV in 2008 contrary to what some believe. Sony then showed them they could play the same card, when they started having more revenue from PS+. What goes around comes around, as you...

Has it not crossed your mind that Sony may have said that "We believe in generations" before they knew they'd run into some shortage of chips necessary to build their PS5, and before they knew the world would be subject to a pandemic which would, among other things, affect people's economic situation and force them to think twice before splurging half a grand on a next-gen video game console?

1474d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Simple. My problem is that there will be less PS consoles sold then, which means there will be less publishers interested in developing for it because of the smaller install base, which in turn means the portfolio of games I will have access to on my PS will be smaller. Capito?
