Gears 4 takes up 117Gb on my 1X, so 57Gb is pretty small in comparison.

I very much doubt they could afford a massive acquisition like this.
M$ has now overtaken Apple as the most valuable Public company in the world at $858 billion, also with huge cash reserves of about $300 billion. If anyone is likely to make a huge acquisition like this its M$.

Going back to DOA6, there is a huge difference between 1080p & 2160p.
4x the resolution and 6million more pixels. Once your eyes get used to it, its difficult to go back to standard HD.
Those games look good, tru 4K they are not, tru checkerboarding more like... lol
Which you can get on the original PS4.

Looking forward to this, been a big fan of the series since the original xbox with DOA 3.
Pleased to hear that they are targeting upto 4K and allowing us to prioritise graphics or performance. PS4 Pro is extremely disappointing though, only delivering the same resolution as the standard PS4, with only marginal improvement in graphical effects. Makes me wonder what the point is in having a Pro or even a 4K tv. May aswell stick to the standard PS4 with a 1080p display.

I don’t expect 4k if the game runs 60fps only for 30fps titles.
Even an RTx 2080 Ti can’t do 4K 60 for most titles.

Everyone seems to want to jump on the bandwagon of Digital Foundary and claim to be technical experts. PS4 Pro actually uses checkerboard rendering to reach the target resolution of 1620p whilst XB1X does it natively at a locked 60fps.

Yup... serves them right, sony is known for dodgey business practices.
This is because the hardcore gamers have always tended to go with Xbox whilst the more casual gamers go with Playstation as its the more well established brand for a longer period of time and they don’t really know or care too much about which is actually better.
Then that will be my last console too !
The day this cloud gaming takes over i think i will give up on gaming for good.
